Love your videos. One piece of advice: you shouldnt hold on to anything (1.03) even if its a rock. I was told off by a dive master once for doing it. Paying that advice forward.

Yep, very good advice! As a company who's staff all come from a background of dive professionals, we know this all too well and always advice our guests to do the same. Happy bubbles!

All the shots are from snorkeling or freediving, no scuba ;)

@@snorkelventure6681 It can be a bit confusing as the manta shot is quite deep. most people snorkeling cannot take this image. I have the impression that on this trip you spend a lot of time sailing and little time snorkeling??

@@Snorkellovers I understand. This set of cleaning stations is in northern raja and the beauty of it is that it’s at 3-5 meters. I’m fairly good at freediving so I’m able to get different angles. The shot I believe your talking about was at about 6-7 meters. On this trip in particular we do a ton of snorkeling, 3-4 per day for 11 days. There are two or three days where we’ll do two long morning snorkels before making a big crossing. We do cover a lot of territory on this tour, but we do all the cruising at night. Hope that helps.

@@alexlindbloom4877 Well, 7 meters is quite deep, most people can't reach it, also filming a manta at 7 meters is quite difficult on snorkeling because you have to cross their trajectory and they don't get scared. It's fantastic that you could do so many snorkeling spots, seeing the video gave me the feeling that there were a lot of drone and navigation images, and few of the Raja Ampat reefs. By the way, do you know what's going on there? Many reefs are disappearing, Kabui Passage is gone... a pity...

@@Snorkellovers sure, seven meters is fairly deep for your average snorkeler, but as I said the cleaning stations are at 3-5 meters. Guests on the surface can easily enjoy the cleaning behavior while not disturbing the manta. It’s hard to find cleaning stations any more shallow than that. I put my self at seven off of the stations so I’m well out of the way of the cleaning mantas, but, as mantas are inquisitive animals they will often times leave the station to have a quick interaction. Not sure what you’re referring to about the reefs and sites disappearing, we did a cruise through the passage on our last tour. It’s not a place we snorkel though as it can have crocs.
