This is a bird that was captive bred for falconry. She is 50% Finnish Goshawk and 50% siberian goshawk. Falconry is widely considered to be one of the oldest field sports dating back 3000+ years. In America licenses, permits and apprenticeship is required to become a Falconer.

Bloodlust? That's not exactly the word I'd use, but likes to catch prey, blood has nothing to do with it

@@oldschoolhawking8191 I wish, our game numbers in North jersey haven't been good these last few years. I have to put in 2-3 hours each day for good slips. South jersey seems to have better numbers. Where are you from
nice ! as an amateur, I prefer the pure species, not interspecific hybridizations, they are unnecessary limitations; I saw gyr with gos, gos with peregrine no, no!
