I think its super important that the mother told her child from the start that they were intersex. This is super super important. I know of many intersex people who's parents kept it a secret from their child only for them to find out in their adult life after a doctor visit. I am very happy for this child having supportive parents letting them explore their identity as a intersex person.

This is very good way to raise an intersex child. However, intersex people are still either male or female depending on how many Y chromosomes they have. It's not really "third gender", so their gender is unknown until they decide to be male or female when they grow up.

People who decide that they are sexually neutral are like the angels. Therefore they should present themselves to the world without feminine adornments. Anything else, is unnecessarily confusing. Just as with angels, we must refer to them using masculine pronouns. This is embedded in our thoughts and language.
