It is symbolic. It is what is currently happening around the world literally everywhere. The core is exploding. The core is imploding. People are falling from grace. People are rising from ash. People are awakening and realising that they need something more. It touches you because you have a heart.

Whoever composed this song is a genius. It's melancholic as it is calming as it is nostalgic as it is lonely as it is haunting. It is uniquely beautiful.

Absolutely. I wish there were a song-length version that wasn't just that one minute played on repeat

What makes it hurt is it's shown as 'footage', the last remaining glimpse of a lost history... like the landing on the moon, the Hiroshima bomb, in a dark, monotone atmosphere like it's a memory or dream. The silent mass destruction, the soulful voice, the barely-there pulling vocals, and the planets... make it look like the fever dreams you had in childhood (those nightmares of horrifying massive spheres and an overwhelmingly tiny orb).

There's a medical name for those weird fever dreams of pre-adolescence that focus on the scale of things. I wish I could remember what it's called. I remember being awestruck when I realised my best friend had those dreams too and then even more awestruck to learn that they're an actual Thing.

the world will be a lot harsher to live on, but that in result will cause large amounts of humanity to die off. Bringing the population back down to sustainable levels. The earth will recover and humanity will have less resources as it once was, so the rebuild and repopulation will take a lot more time.

One of my most strongest feelings the first time I saw it, inmediately falling in love with it.

the song and the visuals makes me feel like i've woken up in the distant future and everything is so alien and unrecognizable that i feel so out of place and homesick for my time.

There is not much known of this song... but we do know, however, that the intro song is performed Swedish artist Mariam Wallentin whose other-worldly vocal qualities are unmistakable. The main score for Raised by Wolves is composed by Ben Frost who has worked with Miriam Wallentin before on the series, Fortitude, in which she sings a ghostly rendition of Soft Cell’s Tainted Love.

This captures and compliments the aura the show emits very well

Love the slight use of glitch effects to give the impression of an account of what occured.

It’s ominous watching the Golden Gate Bridge fall like that. The music feels like a lullaby lulling you to sleep amidst all the chaos.

Absolutely adore this intro. Makes me tear up because it feels like when you look at a painting and feel something universal. A pain or suffering or loss that seems to come through because of the way its sung. The lyrics are haunting and feel so open to interpretation that you can make this your own story. Raised by Wolves is genius.

I had never heard anything so haunting, and beautiful like this before. It is a criminal that this song is so underrated.

R.I.P. to this show. I knew it was too good to last, but better to have had and lost than to never have had at all. 🙌
