I was on my phone while mom is watching this movie and Amanda’s part is what instantly grabbed my attention. She added such a depth to this song which just her vocals. I wish the song featuring her was out on Spotify

I love when Amanda Seyfried comes in wuth the soft vocals sounds so nice...

She actually imposed the groupe in the soundtrack. She's a fan of Raised by Swans ;). The amazing part is that she got the band to give the "instrumental part" of the song for her to sing over. I would so much love an "official" version of her on that track! Guess this is good enough for us :).

Yeah really good song & movie.

I wish this version of the song was in the album. I feel alive whenever I hear this. A million times better than the music we have now. I mean, well, we have good songs here and there but this song right here is something else

the part where the son is alone in his room, and the mother barges in because she hears the music, that song that plays in that scene is her singing to this song.

I could probably build a playlist of similar songs. Try starting with The Act of Darkening, by Katatonia. I wouldn't have even discovered Raised By Swans if it weren't for the comment section on an Anathema song, it was either Dreaming Light or Untouchable.

+Dan Hunter One more I forgot to mention was Ascension of the Watchers. It's a side project of Fear Factory lead vocalist Burton C. Bell, but it's nothing but clean vocals, no yelling or growls or any of his usual metal style vocals. There's even a cover of Simon & Garfunkel's "The Sound of Silence" on the album.

god im so in love with everything you mentioned, dan, except the 2nd comment which ill have to tend to right now; and now im so happy to have just discovered raised by swans and this track in particular, love amanda and everything about it, these past few days have been truly amazing for me in this regard; so i guess, uhm, thanks for the comments!

Simply amazing... Amanda's part remind me of a mermaid. Beautiful... it's very sad but I think is one of the most beautiful song I've ever heard !

And just have to say again- this song is absolutely captivating- adding Amanda at the end sealed the deal. Wish she was in the entire song, too
