Or when food or anything else become substitute of Christ we are deceived. What do you think John the Baptist didn't eat anything if having Christ is access to eating anything?

@@iskaykabeya609 Fruit, grains, nuts, vegetables, water. We have all become gluttons whether it shows or not. Killing animals was for a God-given purpose, for a short-time span. Slaying animals was done away with, when Jesus died for us, not His (moral) 10 Commandment laws. The world has everything backwards. Satan‘s plan: twist, lie, steel, destroy! We eat flesh meat because we want it. Period. Everything gets twisted, and changed from what Jesus Christ had planned: just so people can do what they want. Our fallen nature desires the things that are not of God. … “We must be born again.” “Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.” Matthew 7:13-14. “There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.” Proverbs 14:12. God’s word isn’t too deprive us, but to save us from disease, disaster and destruction. Because of His great love for us. Period.
