I absolutely love this perspective. Goes to show how an ordinary scene can be imbued with mystique and a sense of childlike wonder with a simple shift in one's viewpoint. I have a vague memory of being a child and finding "hiding spots" that would afford me a unique and more interesting perspective on a room. Would LOVE to see more stuff like this!

Two questions: How do you get up to the second story bedroom, and two wouldn't the gramophone on top of the fire burn because of the hot surface?

I like to think there's a really fancy spiral staircase off to the left, since we don't see the railing/landing fully meet the wall on that side; just narrows. Maybe the fireplace has some really impressive heat shielding...? Ooh, maybe it's a model of a gramophone! That wouldn't get hurt by getting warm!

That usually bugs me; it's a pet peeve in ambience videos. But this video doesn't do that for me. I've definitely been in thunderstorms that caused this level of window rivulets where I live! 😅
