This one makes me cry, Good tears though. My mother and grandfather used to sing this with me as a child. Me on my little piano my grandpa on his Lowrey organ and my mother singing with us. I don't remember if we sounded as good as you two (nope. I am sure we didn't) but we laughed and spent time together. Probably have not thought of this song for 30 ish years. This reminds me of all those fun times and how much I miss them now. Never take family for granted, someday we all have to leave. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Hello Mike! thank you so much man, we really appreciate you watching. Hmmm that's an interesting question and to be honest, we do half our gigs by feel and memory anyway, so I shouldn't think you'd have too much of an issue. It may perhaps take frationally longer to get started if it's your first looper, but I suspect you'll get to the point where you're able to perform with your head up faster than the average joe... so I guess our advice would be to go for it. We generally know when we're recording, overdubbing or playing back a track because we run the stuff over and over, so unless you;re literally improvising every performance in the moment, we can't see it being much of an issue. Hope that helps and thank you so much for stopping by! :)

Thanks for giving it some thought. I do have a little Boss RC 2 pedal, and now that you mention it, once I got used to it, the colors didn't matter. Sounds like I'll enjoy it more then be frustrated by it. Sorry if I led ya down a rabbit hole, but thanks for helping me out of one. :)

Haha! No worries at all Mike - yeah sounds like you'll be fine and I reckon you'll really enjoy having the extra tracks to play with. Our live show is all based around the rc300 and we've yet to see anything come along that's quite as well designed or as versatile. Have fun and post stuff when you're comfortable!!

Wow - this takes me back. I spent 10 years in the Christian Music Biz back in the early 80s. BJ was a big thing back then. I got to meet him at a festival I played. He was a gentleman. This song took me way back. Thank you both. Is there nothing you can cover?

Aw thank you man, so glad you like this - Our first ever cover video was for this song back in 2014 but we never released it because we thought it was awful... And that sense of just cutting anything that isn't up to par has been a motto for us ever since. SO glad you enjoyed this updated attempt... snd Sophie has learned both guitar AND ukulele since then! Boom!

Oh also - 10 years in Christian music?! That's a whole extra chunk of your history we didn't know about? How did you find it? Neither of us are religious in any way, although Mat's mum (mom?) is a preacher... or was until she retired recently.... so it's always been something we were aware of but couldn't really be a part of with a clear conscience.

Yeah, that’s 10 years I wish I could get back. The worst group of people I have ever worked with. Not the musicians, mind you - but rather the promoters and pastors. Such a dishonest batch of humanity. Not all, but most unfortunately. Most of my former band mates and I have turned away from religion because of it.
