I had a science geek friend at high school and she used to say it was hard for her to explain to non scientists just how moving Physics can be - I am a scientific dunce so I had to take her word for it.NB she would approve of my calling her"a geek".
'It was Isaac Newton (friend of the channel) ...' I lost it. Hahaha.
Slow, shy, simple . ...unique and effective...brings out not just the beauty of physics, but it's cuteness as well !
She didn't use complex mathematics to explain rainbows but at last she said happy mathematical day .That shows how much she loves maths and how she learnt art to explain 🌈🌦to us.

When i taught, i would spend 6-8 hours prep time per class and that did not include video editing. I can barely appreciate how much effort is required to present such an articulate presentation.
It feels so relaxing to smoke a joint and listen to your joy of math/physics videos.
I came to see a rainbow class and unintentionally reached my nirvana. Thanks from Brazil
Toby, your drawing has really improved, also these videos have become the epitome of relaxing explanations of physical phenomena.
Her dedication towards her artwork is unequivocally appreciable and the explanations provided at the background for making us understand how differently we percieve the rainbow is actually what makes this video out of box. This not a science explanation video but something beyond it.
I've heard millions -- maybe even trillions of explanations for rainbows, but this was the best. Great job.
U just proved that u are a ultimate drawing artist toooo

I just noticed how little I knew about rainbows until I watched this video. Thanks Tibees :)
Dear Toby, I have just discovered you and your channel and loved this rainbow film. Having studied physics myself at university I found this to be so clearly and beautifully explained. I particularly liked the large model of the rain drop. It's always interesting that most children draw a raindrop as a tear shape when in fact it's spherical. I will show this to my daughters. I'm looking forward to watching more of your videos. Thank you for making physics so accessible to everyone, keep up the good work!
you’re really good at explaining complicated things in a simplified form:) you’d make a great proffessor!🙃
Your smile on miniature is just gorgeous :P
Most of this I knew, or could figure out, but the way you illustrate it gives me a much more indepth understanding. Very good

Toby, you are a rainbow. ;-)

Very informative! This is also the sweetest serie on youtube. Thanks for sharing
Some times I do not understand what she is saying, but I really enjoy her voice ... :)
While the Sapir-Whorf theory of linguistic relavity is quite interesting, it has received a lot of criticism (bij for example Chomsky) and is generally not accepted by modern linguists anymore.
Idk why but I feel relaxed after watching this video😀 (Edit) I really liked the Bob ross style

Great art work, Toby, with your superb chalk drawing. Your physics of light lesson was brilliant as well.

I am a physicist and I've learned quite a lot from this video without a single stroke of equation on the board. Thanks!
Wow, thank you, for the first time I got a full explanation of why rainbows form an arc. Your videos are great
Wonderful view of a koala Bear at the start. Thankyou for sharing this with us. You look serene and happy while you work on your Rainbow drawing. Very honest form of explanations. Beauty in Art and description !
Tibees, This is awesome! I always have enjoyed rainbows and, when possible, stop to look at them when they appear. It always gives me a sense of peace when I see one. So, it blows me away the absolutely phenomenal things about rainbows I never knew and gives me a greater appreciation for them. Thank you for sharing. And your Bonus Drawing is outstandingly beautiful. Such talent. Thank you for explaining so even I can understand. And it has been shared on Facebook so others can also really appreciate rainbows. Dave
I don't think you know how fabulous you and your work is. All of the comments tell a story of something special on youtube
wow, I know it's already a cliché, but you make the most interesting mix of physics (it's lovely to hear you talk about physics and very informative), art (it's incredible what you made with that chalk, I wouldn't be able to do it or anything close) poetry (I consider somehow poetic your observations and analogies about the life, or the human condition) and beauty... (because clearly you blend all of this in your person, and that's just beautiful). Have an extremely nice day!
You are an amazing teacher n artist! I learn best this way n I learned quite a bit! THANK YOU! This helps me as an archer/ hunter! This explains n illustrats the flow of light in a damp forest n gives a good/ better indicator of air flow n scents in the woods! Thanks! GWW... Ooouuuttt!!!
