The music, singing, and songwriting from that time period was really amazing, very heartfelt. The only thing I thought took a step down in the 80s was the drumming. Rainbow Mark I was the ultimate line-up, and will be remembered forever. Blackmore's decision to go commercial after their breakup was not exactly the right move, but anyway. JLT's voice is incredible, but his stage presence is weak. Mark III had 1 or 2 hits per album, which i love...sadly, they were boring in concert, to tears. Quite disappointing...fortunately (for me, not them), they toured with The Scorpions, who blew them off the stage.

It's interesting that as the music starts, the movement of the pocket watch perfectly matches with the beat of the song. This song is a masterpiece and I thank all who created it.

The music, singing, and songwriting from that time period was really amazing, very heartfelt. The only thing I thought took a step down in the 80s was the drumming. The beats were very simplistic and repetitive and almost everyone was doing that same beat. Still, there was alot from the 80s we can draw from in creating amazing songs.
