Rainbow Fireballs! Camp CrunchLabs Week 5
Say hello to the least boring summer ever!
Welcome to the fifth week of camp and our fifth set of mega experiments. Be sure you’re subscribed to the CrunchLabs monthly Build Box to get the most out of Camp. You can join here: www.crunchlabs.com/stem. Each build-it-yourself STEM toy teaches the magic and fun in engineering principles and coincides with exclusive weekly videos like this one that feature mega-experiments from my special guests and me. Ready for Camp? Visit www.campcrunchlabs.com for more info.
This week's Challenge: BUILD YOUR OWN RUBE GOLDBERG MACHINE.
That's right, blow me away with a wacky one-of-a-kind "chain reaction". A Rube Goldberg machine is a complex contraption designed to complete a simple or silly task. They are always super fun (though tricky) to build. And even more fun to watch. Maybe incorporate the Domino Catapults from the CrunchLabs Build Box, if you have 'em...
As always, be sure to get permission from a parent before you build your machine. I can't wait to watch your videos!
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. Ends 11:59 p.m. PT on 8/17/23. Open to legal residents of the 50 U.S. & D.C., 18+, who are the parent or legal guardian of a child who is between 8 and 16 years of age. GRAND PRIZE WINNER MUST TRAVEL 8/18/23-8/20/23. Visit www.crunchlabs.com/pages/camp... for Official Rules including full details on eligibility requirements, how to enter, entry periods, winner selection procedure, prize descriptions and limitations. Void where prohibited. Please do not use music in your video entries!

That art submission montage was INCREDIBLE!
Mark you are a fantastic grown child! Keep up the amazing work! Thanks for making science fascinating for kids and adults alike!
12:03 That amigurumi Mark Rober was awesome! Very nicely done, very clean, very even stitches. It’s fun to see a youngster come up with a pattern like that. 😄😊
People crushed the super challenge! It's truly impressive seeing all these kids unleash their creativity away of the screens. And huge respect to the parents that chose to spend quality time with their children even if it comes in the expense of turning into a canvas😆 Also it would be awesome if you can release a video consisting of every submission, its going to be a joy to watch!
I'm so happy to see Sofie. She is such an amazing person and just so down to earth. She is such a sweetheart and amazing. even though I am not participating in camp crunch labs because i'm 36. But these videos are super cool.
I love fire

Yay, we’ve been looking forward to it all morning!
If Mark shot the bow, I would have been utterly amazed.
I loved the little crochet amigurumi of Mark!! I couldn't have done any better myself.
Love your videos so inspiring and fun to watch! Love from Morocco 🇲🇦
Our submission was carving Mark's face in a watermelon and throwing it off a bridge. Tribute to the Watermelometer.
We had our own video game arcade at my summer camp in the 80s. It was GREAT! No other place in town had one so we were the premier camp lol. We went on Field Trips like 3 or 4 days/week. It was so much fun 🤣👌
You Truly are an Inspiration for the next generation. Keep up the great work!!
with the darts at 6:45 I would say Mark because he most likely would use his bulleye every time dart board
So many crazy good entries! These people have awesome skills!!
HI MARK ROBER!!!!!! I bought one of ur crunch labs from a garage sale and I really liked it

Very cool and creative art pieces, looking forward to next weeks submissions
I have been trying on this one for a solid three hours, although it’s been very stressful trying to work with dominoes, i am currently attempting to find a more clever way to do this challenge, I hope no one else will have this kind of struggle. Thank you mark for the amazing summer!

To be fair, I think Sophie Dossi is just a hair over 5 feet...but it's amazing hair, so I think we can count it.
