The place where he guessed is, in fact, where the biggest hills outside Limburg (the panhandle-ish part in the south-east) are. And it's hillier than what he saw. In fact, now that I think about it, some of those places might make for good rounds on hard maps - who would _ever_ guess the Netherlands if you get dropped in a _hairpin turn,_ after all? I know I wouldn't, if not for the fact I drove there once.

heh, that New Jersey round... I grew up in NJ, and I'm (slowly) working on making my own continental US map and I've covered most of the northeast so I checked my own map. I literally have a location around the corner from that one and I still don't think I ever would have got that one... lol

1) i went ecua but i was scared of asia, looked kinda lowcam even. i felt better after matching your continent 2) i mean i thought it looked like it got snow in winters but my rule of thumb in this game is "it's never NA, it's always EU, it's never NA, it's always EU". So i went Corfu, Greece, but I was scared of east coast for sure. I woulda gone more south, like NorthCarolina or Viriginia, but again your greece made me feel better about my greece, and yea, coastal greece doesn't get the snow that NJ does... 3) first thought thai/cambo, then i considered brz because weird map, then somehow talked myself into bangladesh, because i can never recognize bangla. shoulda stuck with thai sigh 4) first round where i had no first thought. i was wondering about baltics, russia, even alaska/BC, possibly upper great plains, eventually settled on the south half of the east coast, on the border of SC/GA. west europe never crossed my mind, it looked... idk actually SC/GA on the ocean actually makes some sense compared to NL, somewhat similar climates now that I think about it, cool but only rarely freezing winters. hmmmm gotta remember this one. oh but you got a repeat LUL man good guess the sand blocked me from NL 5) stumped me tbh, the only thing i was convinced of is that it had cold winters, but i guess even that was wrong. guessing NA was pretty much just luck

It's funny you say that the location in the Netherlands looks like nothing in the Netherlands, as for me it looks like a classic Dutch heathland. You'll find these open places in many of the Dutch forests. If you wanted me to describe what Dutch nature looks like, I would be describing a place exactly like this.

I'm from the town in Lebanon that the tunnel appeared on Rainbolt's map! Been playing and watching Geoguessr for years and have never seen anyone get a Lebanon location, so seeing it appear in my hometown was crazy! I don't blame you for not getting it, it's pretty random :)
