It does even better if you're going down the highway cuz then it just the wind blows it off and it's like it just sheets off Rain-X is a good product

READ THE DIRECTIONS!! You're instructed to WIPE off the anti-fog film after it dries to leave a "streak-free coating"...

The anti fog works great, if you apply it correctly. That handle to clean the windows is not what you should use. I have all that and rain-x has great products, but you have to do it correctly. Here's the thing, with the any fog, you apply, but then you have to wipe it like you'd be taking wax off a car. That handle thing doesn't apply enough "pressure" as a paper towel or newspaper does. Use that, and your windows will not fog, and it'll be crystal clear even at night!

@@robertkiell it's very simple .. soak the window with rain x, trying to only wipe on the window. Use a microfiber towel, paper towel, or newspaper to clean it dry. Wait. Now use another CLEAN paper towel to wipe it all over again. This last step is not usually done .. it is removing what you don't see ... a small "fog" cover on the window to TREAT it

You're meant to buff off the anti fog, it works for me and I can see fine, it's also very clear at night

Rain X I’ve been using it for about 10 years or more I love it You didn’t apply it right you have to let it dry on your windows then you buff it off

You need to buff it multiple times so it won’t be that way

These products are great, both the rain-repellent and the anti-fog; I've tested them on my helmet visor (it's my latest vid) - the rain repellent worked well, I could see a noticeable improvement in the size of the water droplets and the way they bead, but the anti-fog was spot-on, no fogging whatsoever.

The anti fog works you just have to wipe your window with one rag and then go over it again with a dry rag so it can soak up any moisture left on your windshield

Anti fog is supposed to be applied and then wiped off.

Lost my handle after our move 3 months ago. RainX also comes in gallon jugs with anti-freeze, wiper liquid. Wonderful stuff!!

Jack I have been using the "Windshield Wonder" for years now and works great to clean the inside windshield glass. I do not use anything on the glass because it is better to clean it with just the green pad alone. Instead of using any liquid on my glass to repel water I use wax on it, let it dry and buff to great view and water just beads off! It works so great you almost can't believe there is glass there. Loved the review because it touched a cord with me. My car is 13 years old and looks brand new!!!

Love Rain-X it's awesome been using it for about 15 years. Works really good when you are driving in the rain blows right off the windshield.

I had the same issue with the anti fog/ mist. Was a nightmare esp with glare from oncoming traffic. Turns out that the glass must be super clean beforehand; like properly wiped down with a degreasing window cleaner, even if it already looks clean. When I did this, and then reapplied rain-x, it worked flawlessly. I think the solution emulsifies any oils/grease and smears it all over. Rain-x should really stipulate that the surface MUST BE degreased beforehand.

You will notice the RainX working most when driving. It's pretty cool, although honestly it can be distracting having the rain move all back up the windshield. Just something to get used to.

When the car moves the beads of water will move right off the windshield from the wind resistance. Love the inside cleaning device!

You only use a lil of the anti fog on windows and with a paper towel or 100% cotton cloth you buff it out. That’s what the directions say on it.

Well you should have done half the windshield with the rain repellent and half without and then tried the ol' garden hose test.

I've been using a similar windshield cleaner with a handle for years. The invisible glass window cleaner has a kit and it is awesome. Im a smoker so I get bad smoke haze and that product makes my life so much easier.

your suppose to buff out lightly the haze the anti fog leaves

don't recommend that anti fog crap to people, it's a nightmare trying to get that haze crap off your windshield.

Rain-X is great. The more you put it on, the better it gets. When your driving down the road and it's raining, the beads go up your windshield. You need to put another coat on your windshield. I've been using Rain=X for years.

Had to pre-clean my interior 2:02 with Windex.

Jack I use the Rainx (wind shield cleaner) in the wind shield wiper reservoir. When I use my wipers it has the same sheeting effect. I really like it

How much do you add...the entire bottle?

If you hit 45 mph while driving, your windshield will stay clear and dry (the rain just rolls up/off)...

This has been in the UK for a while and they have a washer fluid additive too for the raint repellent. They both work if you buff it properly but they're dead expensive and the cost is not justified with the amount of rain we get anyway and the weather here. You have to use your wipers most of the time anyway and you've always got the demisters on anyway in the morning to get the frost off.

Moisture should run right off .she knows what's up! Love you and your family!

i have one of those windsheild wonder things, i like it but i used to have a different one years ago that had a triangular shaped head that i liked better. i've only had it a couple weeks so i can't say how durable it is yet

A proper microfiber towel will get the job done with no streaks smears or lint for both the exterior and interior glass. Invisible Glass is a great cleaner to use as well. It's tint safe and they even make one with rain repellent in it. Great stuff.

I use PIAA wipers. They do a similar job with some sort of coating on the wipers. They cost about 3x more but they will last 4-6 years with zero issues. Also every time you use the wiper, it gets “reapplied”.

I think after like 15 min or so your supposed to wipe or buff the anti fog film off 😜

I have used it for years ,with water only. And the rainX works better when you are driving hardly have to use the wipers .

In no a good test of the products. You’re supposed to clean the windscreen and then apply and buff off not leave on for a week. And the rain repellent works a thousand times better when you hit 30-40mph. It literally runs off so fast the wipers can’t keep up.

hi mate ill give u a trick. use a decent car wax like chemicle guys on your windshield. lasts longer and is a better rain repellent

You should try "Super Clean" to clean! Super cheap at Walmart, you can also diluted it 1 part product to 4 parts water.

Bugs don’t go splat, they skid off. Great stuff.

Jack.. Try Top Coat and use it on everything including your car, windows, everything. It's water based sealant. And it even works on plastic, where Rain-X does not. Do the comparison and see. I've been using it on my car, my motorcycle, all over the house. It works, and last between 3-6 month between applications. Just try it and see.

Rain-x is great, used it for years. Used to drive at speed with no wipers on, it just ran off. Use it also on lights so rain runs off, side windows, back window not just the front. It’s also great for outside use on home windows, they stay cleaner longer. It’s like non-stick for glass. No so much the anti-fog, didn’t like it, never heard anything good about it, shame it hurts the brand.

good idea, but we've had a telescopic squeegie with netted foam, much better, for 9$.

You know....shaving cream works as an antifog for the inside of your car. Just a tidbit of info to be cheap! 😂

Was the inside of your windshield clean? If not and you have enough miles on the car you will find anything you put on it causes problems. Clean the inside good and try again.

I have had tons of success with the RainX products. Once you're driving you won't need to use the wipers.

Wayne G. After the Sunnyside, New York Rite Aid shortened its dollar isle; Dollar tree is my go to place. But I don't get the extra 20% off with my Rite Aid gold membership and also don't have a Parking lot on Queens Blvd. :(

you can get that same result with spray wax... the new ones. you use during drying.

@@akzebraminer It also helps to apply it on days where it's not hot/ tons of sun. I heard the formula you apply to a towel works better than the stuff you spray, anyway. Ah, instructions!

You put the handle in reverse, the tip of the handle should be pointed down.

2:32 He got some on his dash and now there's an ugly stain there. The instructions/warnings are literally right there on the spray bottle, take the extra 30 seconds to read them.
