A game that began being made over 10 years ago originally was supposed to be a short little challenge of eating some bats and then sleeping evolved into soon to be 10 different characters each with half a day's worth of content with uniqe abilities and interesting lore

Can we appreciate how at 6:42 he just killed 2 goddamn red lizards (without pipe cheap tactics) and doesn't even mention it? I am truly astounded and scared by this guy's skill at killing things.... I mean... he just gave it for granted

@@Akeari the good news is that the hunter was kinda the challenge I was hoping for in the game... sure in the survivor you got a couple of tough areas but after a few days of playing the game when I first got it and getting the hang of throwing a rock at hungry lizard, it got pretty easy :>

Small update on what I've done: I've completed the game as Monk and Survivor, and explored (nearly) every corner of the world in both modes. I have yet to do a Hunter run, probably because I'm scared of the creatures I might encounter (King Vulture, Red Centipede etc.)

Some days ago i saw a wierd dream about rain world. It was about my hunter playthrough and that fact that i stuck on flying islands , i found a gate to unkown location and it's enviroment was like antarctic sciencist base ruins , there was just tall rooms with much of ladders and ways to go , but at top of these room always were some strangle creatures looking like void vorm but much smaller. After some time of exploring rooms i found one way to go - upside left , rooms in this side usally was long and with some platforms under it , but after one of rooms all become more dark and harder to figure out what is around , and in one of small rooms i found a creature that has one bright eye , big head with huge scary claws and very long body with thousand of legs , but i saw only it's eye and this creature was covered in ice. Next time when i meet something living was when i went some rooms in upside , in little section of room i found a larva , after eating it , bright eyes began to appearing in walls , and then these creatures surrounded me and killed.

I found out about this game when I suddenly got recommended the video where Turtle Toad babysits two Cyan Lizards, and soon I found out I loved this game as well. If you do pick it up, though, keep in mind that it is frustrating until you get the hang of things, but it's still really fun

I was able to live to the day where Turtle Toad posted a video after i subscribed late to the channel?? What a great day it is today

After many a cycle of death and reincarnation, slugcat reaches a different kind of enlightenment

It's actually an exploit using Echo. When it spawns (normally on the cycles with 5+ Karma only after you visited its room once), all creatures in the nearby rooms disappear or otherwise non-hostile, including Vultures who would just pass out and drop like in this video.

Yeah, since vulture grubs spawn in vultures, you can summon an infinite amount of harmless vultures to grind.

I actually don't understand it fully. If you enter a region for the first time and starve, the creatures will spawn twice.
