This sounds like the soundtrack that plays in my head whenever I think back to being a Father before my divorce and I can see all the times my children smiled at me. I can see in slow motion them running for the door to wrap around my legs when I’d come inside or when they’d bring me a cool rock or a flower or something. Was getting stressed out at the airport yesterday, with delayed flights, missed connections, and rebooked flights to get home. Stayed calm by playing this in my head over and over. Thanks Rob!
Has that good old Buckethead - Big Sur Moon vibe
Now twooba has that guitar
Like thunder, like rain; you struck and poured down upon me with all of your awe. Sorry that I was afraid of the flood that would come to be.
It's been 10 years... I was 11 when this came out. This song has been with me for a long time now, in good an bad times. Thank you Rob.
My brother is learning to play this with his guitar and it makes me so happy, when he plays it for me it’s so emotional 💜
This is one of the beginning songs that got me into guitar
This song makes me feel like things around me just expanding, and I am just moving along with it.
Something about the way it sounds when he plays it makes it sound so much better
this song... it just gives me memories ive never had.. its like memories but not of anything specific... just the past.
It sounds similar to "Big Sur Moon" by Buckethead (Great job btw)
Rob recently made another video at this same spot and it reminded me of Rain
12 years ago, wow. Time never stops
I don't know what it is about rain that I keep listening to it over and over including all the covers with different instruments I love this song I even bought it on iTunes
For some reason this song invokes a feeling of melancholy in me. I imagine this song being played at the funeral of a beloved character in a TV show or when a close family member dies in a movie. I have been thinking a lot about this song and am a little upset to that it isn't more popular. Rob, this is really something else, thank you.
Something about this reminds me of my brother who is no longer here... This makes me unbelievably sad in my heart 💔
Yesterday I walked into a floor sign after holding the door open for someone, and then I see this. How the hell are you people so talented!?
This song goes directly into my soul. It´s like it´s telling me something. I might get a guitar and start learning!
I use this delay pattern in absolutely everything now, it inspires me creatively in a way I can’t fully explain. It’s just easy to sit down and jam with a delay set similarly to this
@user-lm9dm8yd7r
8 ай бұрын
What about delay time in this song? 375 ms?
I used a digitech digital delay back in the 80s and played stuff similar to this, simple arpeggios letting the delay do all the work. That was before this kid was born of course. I'm old as dirt 63
there's something hauntingly beautiful about this song....amazing
this song remind me home and my family. beautiful song, make me cry.
Idk how to explain this song its like a tune ive been hearing throughout my whole life everythings faster than I want to be, then everythings hectic then at the end of it all when everythings said and done it quiets down and back to peaceful it hurts so much.
Heard this first time in 2016 and here we are again in 2021. Revisiting all the great masterpieces one by one. Life is kind now.
Why does this song unlock such nostalgic memories
In 2020... with everything as it is... This song brings me to my center.
message to the future generations: do not let this song die, nor get hate. this is truly amazing. [-A person 2, 1/4/2024]
