    Thanks for that review and showing me I'm not alone having a hard time putting my rain pants on (taking my boots off really helped). I use Scott rain suit and it is the best rain suit I have seen so far.

    Jenny is AWESOME!! I met her when I was passing through for work....she knew all the killer roads to ride on, made sure I got a copy of the Arkansas State tour guide that also had a bunch of motorcycle routes, and she helped me grab some GREAT clothes for my wife....she was AWESOME!!! Pig Trail is a GREAT dealership!! I never would have guessed I would see a dealership like this when I was in town for work, as its not like its a huge city.....its Walmart and thats pretty much it....its just outside of Bentonville....I LOVED the dealership! Wish they were closer to me! On the rain gear, no matter which one you pick, you will be glad you did if you are in a downpour....yeah, you will hate it putting the crap on, but once its on you will be so happy you grabbed it!! :-P You forgot to tell us which you ended up with.... :-P

    I bought the Harley rain gear about a yr. ago and am pleased with them. I am tempted to cut the pleat out of the pants though. It would make it alot easier to get them on and off with boots. I wish the pants had a pleat and zipper at the fly for added convienance to put on and off easier. Also you forgot to mention the pants in the butt area has non slip padding.

    As an everyday rider who lives in Seattle and rides in the rain I can tell you with conviction that the Harley rain gear is legit. Definitely size them when you are waring your jacket, chaps, and riding boots as it will make a difference and you will soon discover that you can only really put the bottoms on if you are sitting down. The suspenders are a good addition and you will appreciate them more than you think as you get wetter. The heat shield is a valuable addition to the lowers. The only issue I ever had with them is the crotch wore out too quickly. Gorilla Tape on the inside will fix it quickly though and keep it sealed for another year of wet weather riding.

    I ride daily from Puyallup to Bellevue. The HD gear while fitting really well lasted about 3 months for me before letting water in. I had to retreat the gear to make it waterproof again and that material only lasted about 2 months. One bit of advice for longevity, hang them when you're not wearing them, don't roll them up and pack them away when not in use because the creases break down the protection. I'm searching for premium rain gear that holds up longer.

  • @erniemorgan471

    @erniemorgan471

    What good is it to hang them when you aren’t using them? They would be hanging up at home when you are riding and get caught in the rain. 🤔

    In my life time I've bought many different kinds of rain gear. The best thing I can say is you won't get wet in a torrential down poor in a one piece set. Not I've bought 4 pares of H.D. gear and it all stinks in my opinion. It costs $350-400 is the first draw back. Second it leaks. Your neck, wrists, chest, and around the waist because it's two piece. I like being dry so I found Jafra on tge east coast that sold a one piece for $29 now $39 but I've never got damp. Only thing is if it had a thing pocket it would be outstanding. So don't let the price or Harley name sell you is my opinion. Have a great dry day.

Think about it this way, I don't want to be that guy who has what brand motorcycle/ vehicle emblem on my shirt, jacket, gloves, boots, wallet, belt, helmet, sun glasses or head rag and I've not even began with what all the items Harley makes.
