I feel like Chakram/Rifle is a really strong setup for when you know you're going to fight at an objective. Not only can you place turrets at obvious entry points for zoning or damage, but placing a turret by the drag/baron really helps burn it down, and kiting people through turrets can give you lot of Chakram stacks.

his guns are not randomized, they have a set rotation and you need to drain each gun in a way that makes the order optimal.

The thing u said about flamethrower feeling like it does no dmg, it actually does 110% dmg and for me feels like the best gun for waveclear & teamfights

Tha champ has a pretty big learning curve. Just a tip on the flame gun. Its pretty good for poke and with crit the waves hit a lot and they are longer range if they hit something so you can hit the backline. But the biggest use of that gun is that you hit multiple targets allowing you to tag people with your secondary gun effects

@@keyman3131 I think its leass about adc skills and more about having a synergistic mindset. trying to rotate guns into comboes (they go back into the queue in the order you discard). Eg glaive + sniper = a target spotter turret

Tbh I feel like the skill floor of aphelios is at the same level as playing azir decently well, so yea a really big learning curve. You basically have to micro manage atleast 3 guns at once (mainhand, offhand, next in line) when preparing for an objective always try to cycle to the best guns for the situation so I feel like a full AS/crit build would be the best since it helps with cycling through his weapons. I want to try one tricking him but idk where to start XD

Little tip from an aphelios main, the white gun allows you to attack again as soon as the projectile returns to you. So you wanna stand as close as possible to enemies and objectives and you’ll attack insanely fast.

Prison idea, so many shit champs in this game. I mean, he’s hating on Aphelios so much in this video that it just proves how much of a task it is.

So Zwag beat me in solo queue today and said he wasn’t recording :(((( now I don’t even get to watch my sweet Leona plays on him to see what he would say.

"You guys are gonna say you're not playing him properly" Yes we are, because you're not. This is not a champ that you can learn by playing him 3 times. And that's still not an excuse to cry like a little kid. "His design is terrible" Again, you just cant say that. It's your fault for not understanding it. Not the design fault. I also hate aphelios, but i think his design is very fun. If you dont like him, dont play him. And if you do, dont complain like a little kid. "I only played him a couple of times and i'm probably not gonna play him again" That's fine. Not every champ is for everyone. And it doesnt mean that you have to sit there and cry like a little kid every 5 seconds. You're supposed to be an entertainer, not antagonizer. Judging by the comments of this video, this is the one video that antagonized half the viewers. A zwag video that has the "Did zwag get the first 6 minions" comment overshadowed by people lauging at you for how much you cry like a little kid. Also, Zilean was the better support and you own him your earlygame. And considering that you're smurfing in low elo. He didnt deserve all the hate you gave him. Yes he made mistakes, but you did too. And alot of them. Alot more than Zilean did. You may be a good macro player, but you were garbage this game and you started blaming your team. That's exactly the toxic behavior everyone hates. And you see it from a top streamer with a good community.

Dude, the best combo for Aphelios's weapons are Severum (the one with lifesteal) and Crescendum (the boomerang that summons a turret) Having both means that you get a Lot of mini boomerangs after the multiple hits from the scythe, and when you shift to the boomerang and ult, you will have a LOT of mini boomerangs, which does a LOT of damage. 200 years for you :^)

gave me a headache just thinking about having to think about getting the right guns, getting the right team fight setup, landing the ult while kiting, dodging, having enough ammo, and learning what the mini boomerangs did for the first time

I was genuinely surprised he had no idea how to use that combo. I dont like aphelios. I tried him once and i still knew what the combos are based on people i played against. You cant tell me that in all his experience with league noone used the lifesteal/boomerang combo against him. It's basically the easiest one to notice as an enemy

I'm a Aphelios main, in a game I went 10/0/3 in the early and still dealt "ok" dmg until the 23-26 minute Mark, he's so late game It's Sad. At least he's super versatile and incredible fun to play so it's worth it

APhelios has way better damage ratios than lethality. His Purple gun has like 90% scaling ratios alone. Also his guns aren’t randomised. It follows a use and used system, so the ones you have are never in rotation. So you can actually alter what weapons come next by using certain ones more.

Honestly its pretty entertaining when you and your whole team are so frustrated

Two things I have concluded about this game 1: Zwag doesn’t know how aphelios works 2: that Zilean doesn’t know how to play Zilean

ngl this was kinda better than most of the vids. i love these long games

That champ is like "I have no idea what's going on, or what I'm doing... Oh look I killed someone"

I like aphelios and watching zwag complaining about him hurts me, and most of it is true.

You need to read documentation on him to actually have a chance of understanding what he does, but because he has so many potential combos that not even the player himself get to chose when he unlocks, this is far too much information for anyone that do not play him to process. Take Kaisa, an champ that is know to have an overloaded kit. I never played her and I understand her combos. 4 abilities, 3 of which changing into better ones. Take Elise, Nidalee or Jayce, who all have two forms: the abilities are very easy to learn, and to expect. 7 abilities, 2 auto-attack types. Take Aphelios and there is so many freaking interactions that even now I'm still unsure as to what each of his R make. That damn champ has 5 different auto-attacks, 10 different abilities, and if I remember correctly 15 potential skill combos. I myself find that we tend to complain more about the champion than we actually try and learn him. But this does make him excessively uninstinctive to play AND to play against.

Everything comes down to having two weapons at a time and thats all you need to know. You dont understand him because you dont WANT to understand him. Yes hes more complicated than other adcs but its really not difficult to understand that you only need to remember the 5 weapon keys and thats it. Thats legit everything you need to know, 5 weapon key aspects and the rest solves itself. Sniper, sustain, CC, AOE and DPS. He can only do two abilities at a time, and they are based on the weapons main aspect + an offhand auto. Thats all

You can either be 2 types of Aphekios players, the bic brain calculate everygun and combos type, or the 0 braincell press every button type. The funny thing is, I dont see the difference between the 2 when the game hits 30 min+

the crescendum is way faster if you stand closer to targets (also buildings) and charged up it does a lot lot lot of damage.

Zwag this was an amazing stressful game to watch, thank you for the great content!!

The infernum is the strongest of all guns cause it combos with all of the other guns pretty well

As an aphelios main, his gameplay isn't too bad but aphelios has a lot of small tricks to make his gun usage the most efficient. Theres a specific order in what way you cycle your guns so you always have the best on hand/off hand combo. Best combos are red/white, white/green, and blue/purple.

Finally i always wanted an aphelios

Literally my first 3 games I played on Aphelios I didn’t get less than 20 kills per game, and I was a straight up chimp with a keyboard. 200 years ladies and gentlemen. For the Algorithm

Bro the final fantasy music unlocks an old memory

guns are not randomized they have a cycle that you have to learn or memorize. the simple way is to waste red first, then green (sniper), then purple (root/grav gun), then blue gun (flamethrower) and then repeat the cycle by wasting red first again, white, green, purple, blue. this gun cycle gives you great guns for: red + white = great duel combo, can easily stack mini-chakrams to do 200 years worth of damage. white + green = extend your AA range with your turret, stack a ton of mini-chakrams every auto and then go to town with them. green + purple = long ranged root, land your Q to root them. purple + blue = great for teamfights. blue is really good for team fights since it has a lot of cleave and you can mark everybody with Q to root their whole team. purple ult is also good to slow and root their entire team. could do both in a row so they legit can't move. if you screw up the cycle generally you want to wait for red to come back, waste it and get your guns back in order. if you follow most of the cycle fixing it is pretty simple. for example if you accidentally use blue before purple then simply next cycle waste your green and then use purple first next time, etc. same concept with the other guns unless you really screw it up. give it a couple games or jump into the practice mode and it'll become easy to keep track of them.

The gun you finish the ammo on goes to the end of the list So if you cycle the guns keeping certain guns together, you can engage depending on the 2 current guns. Best pairs are red, white. Green, white. Green, purple. Blue purple. The best is red, white because the red Q creates alot of Chakra. So red engage, then switch to white being as close to them as possible.

The highest damage gun combo is flamethrower and chakram or the life steal thing and chakram. The purpose of the flamethrower is to spread your secondary guns effect across multiple targets, doing this with offhand chakram gets you a ton of chakrams so when you switch to chakram your AAs do massive damage.

You should try Divine Sunderer, Ravenous hydra Akali. She has good AD and AP scalings and does Physical and Magical damage. Its a ton of fun with hydra.

Well Aphelios' guns aren't randomized. When a gun is out of ammo, it will be moved to the back of the queue. For example, u have gun 1-5, ur gun 1 is out, u will have gun 2 & 3 on ur active guns, and the queue then will be 4 5 1. Good phel players would actually memorize the queue and play off that.

I love when you get your first red and white gun combo and the enemy doesn't expect the damage cause they've been beating you and then you 1v2 them

Maybe I’m just crazy but I remember infernum(flamethrower) doing the most on-hit damage out of all of them (disregarding the splash damage). Could be wrong tho, just remember it hitting like a truck. Crescendum (chakram) also does an absurd amount of damage if you get a lot of blades up (I think you get 4 or 5 with your R on one person).
