Matt really dig this man! Still one of my fav The Voice artists and was stoked when u took over in Slaves but glad u made new band, i also reacted to this and loved it! Roguenjosh as usual love the reaction man!

The vocal pop sensibilities that Matt has fuse so well with the overall sound of the band - A truly fresh sound for the scene - Plus the drummer is out here only using 1 tom - impressive

Thanks for this reaction, otherwise I might have missed that Slaves is now Rain City Drive. Pretty cool new name, I dig. The song is straight fire! McAndrew's vocal control is unreal.

Don't get me wrong, i'm a metalhead through and through now, but growing up i was predominantly a hip hop/rnb fan, so finding some songs like this that manage to blend the 2 is fucking awesome.

I absolutely love this band. I can't wait to hear more songs off the album!

They’re so good!!

Literally was obsessed with these at one point. Then only recently been listening to imminence, spiritbox and dayseeker. But this is pretty dope!

Loving the fresh start, new band name and new single!

i've been listening to these guys for a looooooong time. i'm not gonna lie when i say i was super sad when Johnny left, fucking loved his vocals and the energy he brought to the band. when they dropped their new album with Matt, i gave it a couple of listens and wasn't really into it. i'd be lying if i said i wasn't a huge fan of the change, at first. however, i recently found out they changed their name while listening to Routine Breathing and saw they dropped a song. gave it a listen and i'm thoroughly impressed with how it sounds. never thought Matt's vocals were bad but the way i knew Slaves just didn't fit with the sound. after listening to this song a few more times i gave their other album a listen to and found trying to compare it to what the band was with Johnny was holding me back a lot. i've grown to appreciate both 2015/2018 Slaves, and now 2020/2021 RCD. love the name change, loving this sound and definitely respect the changes they've had to go through in the music scene. excited to see what they have in store 😌

I'm glad that despite the name change they kept their signature style.

awesome video and amazing band. Just saw them in the UK and killed it. I thin they're just going to keep getting better and better judging by this song. You should check out holding abscence as well, as they're also taking off.
