Crazy to think he was only given a few hours notice and opportunity to join before the band went overseas since Jonny wasn't at the airport due to a relapse. Dude had to make a split second decision and now the band is thriving more than ever. Love to see it.

I swear! I recently found them (THANK GOD)🙏🏼🙏🏼 but when I first found them I listened to EVERY SONG AND ALBUM LITERALLY! And there was literally not a single song I didn’t like! Absolutely love this group

I thought they would fall apart without Jonny. Boy was I wrong. They have proved that they can move forward and build something new and improved. Love what Matt has brought to the table.

I just can't get over how perfect Slaves is. I was with them from the beginning with Johnny Craig and im still a huge fan as Matt McAndrew has taken his place. I dont give a shit what anyone has to say about Johnny Craig, he's paved the road for every band he's stepped foot in, but slaves has hands down been my favorite band to sit back and watch as they evolve and they have definitely been at their best with Matt

SLAVES: Every song you guys make resonates with my soul. This whole album is like a soundtrack to my life and everything I'm going through right now. Been going through a horrible divorce for the past year, debilitating pain from medical issues and family and friends close to me have been dying left and right with my best friend I've known since I was 5 years old took his own life. I can't even begin to tell you guys how your music has kept me going through all this horrible shit I've endured the past years. Thank you for everything you've done. It means the world to me.

Jonny has a lot of talent for sure, but in my experince it tends to sound like jonny + band. Thats fine, but you need more cohesion to get something special. Plus i was pretty sick of jonnys pity me style lyrics.
