That crossing has issues with northbound trains not activating the signals in time. Now that positive train control (yuck) is on the line, it is likely that the issue has been fixed.

Every time i hear like a type 3 or type 4 WCH E-Bell, i think of the mbta. For example, Ashland and Framingham.

Some cities have installed quiet zones. Once special medians or crossing gates are installed on the road, it can become a quiet zone. Many railfans (like me) hate them.

I think the problem with it was that it wasn't getting enough power while the gates were rising.
