I bought my Taus back in 5th edition but never played them before. Now i've started playing w40k for the first time ever and I found a lot of your comments/suggestions very useful. Even tho i can't use some of them due to my lack of knowledged (how to proper use darkstrider for example) I'm enjoying learning step by step. thank you for this new perspective on what T'au can do

What I like about the Railgun Hammerheads is the alpha potentiel. 2 Seekers+Railgun is a lot of potential damage, and fairly reliable as well. And for just 130-140 pts. I keep Longstrike with the Railgun+SMS and 1 regular Hammerhead with the Ion Cannon+Accelerator burst cannons, as I like how it interacts with the Lethal boost. Very fun tag-team.

You texted it ! I really like you capacity of challenging the t'au meta and just creating concept that nobody understand ! Glad this is mostly reserved to our shas el so we always got a step ahead vs meta

People really like suits. I stopped using them ages ago, been a blast not using them. Also surprised no one has been using hammerheads/longboy. Then again I play my T'au like a IG main. Cool to see people using the longboy again.

Always great listening to your videos. The SMS on my hammerheads never did anything because I'm overly cautious and nearly always guide my hammerheads meaning if the SMS shot at something out of line of sight it was hitting on 6's. Even hitting on 5's when not guiding elsewhere is not that good but while a couple will not do it I like you idea of flooding the field with them. We're you tempted with skyrays to complement the hammerheads. The reroll to hit against pesky units like swooping hawks and warp spiders would be nice. My list is definitely an easy Bring It Down secondary for the opponent :) Still relying on the crutch of a single crisis unit and some solo commanders.

Vindication! I've run HH w/Rail the whole edition. People telling me I'm crazy. They are awesome. SMS overload is brilliant, I love it.

Just had a tournament with quite similar list, it’s a very good call indeed, I haven’t finished 2nd but my opponents were really struggling. Had also a solo crisis commander, 3 riptides 3 broadsides all with SMS, it’s incredibly useful to remove those small annoying units. And 2 hammerheads. Then no crisis but mass breachers (1 squad wiped a 4 man squad of custodes guardians), it was very fun to play, but had some hard time against aeldari and 10x wraith guard still… Can’t wait to see what’s coming for us!

Just curious, why hammerheads over Skyrays?
