Outstanding! I lived in the Lancaster/Mojave area for 24 years; drove past the Mormon Rocks every now and then. I almost felt like I was going through Mojave - the fast food, gas stations, Jr Market. And your mix of containers on the well cars; right down my alley! 🥰

You have really done outstanding work on the layout Kory,it was fun watching the trains operate. Maybe next time try double-heading engines.

Damn that looks good! You did such an awesome job of recreating that area of the Cajon Pass... I live about 10 minutes from there. My favorite spot for rail fanning. When I was a kid, there was a small restaurant named Tiffany's Cafe that I used to eat at with my parents and grandparents. I never got enough of watching the trains coming out of Sulivan's curve while eating my breakfast! Long before the McDonnalds and gas station were constructed. Can't wait for the next update! 👍

The larger rocks are spot on. Seen them many times around the El Cajon. Jack in the Box was great as well. Time for a Jumbo Jack with Onion Rings.

Although you are modeling Mojave, those 2 structures you showed, the Best Western motel and the corner liquor store, could easily be on Sepulveda Blvd in the Valley. The DODX military train was cool. I love that Shell station! The McDonalds sets it off! The graffiti details are excellent as well. The high tension towers are way cool they just need some high tension wires running across. BLI has it going on don't they?? I have a CSX BLI and I'm really impressed. ScaleTrains seem to be on point even more so! Great job on your layout. I think it is Primo!

Nice video, excellent scenery. I noticed on your first train there was a bulkhead flat carrying a John Deere tractor with a fork lift on the bucket end. What is your source for that tractor or is it scratch built? I need one to pick up my round hay bales. Fred
