Railbuggies VS Indian Mountain ATV Park

Ever wondered how an old school railbuggy would do where new SxS's ride. One crazy chaindrive rail and a couple conventional buggies show me how to climb some hills at Indian Mountain ATV Park. I followed them around Indian Mountain in my RZR. This brought back some good memories. Rail buggies are what got me hooked to offroading back in my younger days. I wish I would have had a video camera back then. Highly modified vw engines and some good driving make these fun to watch. Ive been looking at the affordable bender its linited to 90° its also $300ish if i buy the dies and get a air over hydraulic ram and build it

I've got a manual bender. It's probably worth getting the air over hydraulic if you were going to do an entire build

Just out of curiosity.... What cams do they run in these hilclimb vw buggies?

I've ran some 110 and 120 cams. Fk8 Fk9. Vz15 stock cam with 1.4 rockers. It's been 15 yrs since I had one though. Probably some better options out now

What size roller chains do they run #50 or so?

@@GrimRZR Right on just wondering my 1 seat mini buggy uses a #530 roller chain.

@@GrimRZR My buggy has a 740cc Twin engine so i think the 530 roller chain should hold up fine. I have a modified 1 seater Stinger 740s buggy the thing is so damn fun!
My front wheel drive honda would drive right up that with steet tires smh lol jk hows it been jonny its jake zimmerman chris zimmermans son
