Rail traffic in the Czech Republic - The busiest and scenic railway line - Brandys - Bezpravi [4K]

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

The railway line between Kolín and Česká Třebová is the busiest railway line in the Czech Republic. Hundreds of passenger and most diverse freight trains pass this section every day. This video shows the hilly section between Choceň and Ústí nad Orlicí (primarily near Brandýs nad Orlicí and Bezpráví).
Considering the hilly terrain there are several large railway curves and train speeds are around 80km/h. This makes this section of the railway very picturesque and beautiful for photography and filming trains. A very large number of trains makes interesting situations on a large part of the recordings. The video shows many frames with simultaneous passing of two trains.
On this section there are several railroad crossings. They are activated for most of the day, because they have an incredibly large number of lowering due to the very large number of trains.
The video shows various passenger trains such as Euro City (EC trains), express trains, fast trains, Regiojet, Railjet, City Elephant and most other regional and local trains of Czech Railways and different private railway operators. In the freight railway transport, numerous private railway operators are also shown. Among them there are ČD Cargo trains, Metrans intermodal trains, Unipetrol Doprava tank trains and many others freight trains.
Date of recording:
August 2018.

    These puppies must be running at run 8 (if they have that high speed on their lever) they are not letting any grass grown under the wheels. (Nothing had better get in front of them at a crossing because there would junk all over the area). I saw a lot of passenger train in this video; does a lot of the people ride the trains? there was a lot of beautiful scenery in this video of the country around the railroad right of way. the person who did the videotaping of this video was outstanding; it was very clear and sharp it was a pleasure to watch a video this good. Thanks for a very good hour of watching trains. (Mississippi gulf coast, USA)

    Public transport is definitely used much more than in US. City centers are old and broader city centers are build from industrial revolution to 60s as less people worked in agriculture and more in industry. Real estates build during communism have something like one parking place for two or three families in 70s. Today cars are cheap, but parking is a problem and roads inside cities are congested to the level that using public transport (trams, buses with dedicated road lanes) is about as fast as using car. Highway between Prague and Brno build in 70s is being reconstructed and capacity is completely insufficient. So people use buses a lot for all kind of transport, I think we have the most dense railway network in the world (not sure why, maybe because Czech Republic has a lot of industry and it was among richest countries before WW2) and if there's a train line, it's usually faster and more comfortable than bus.

    The line between Chocen and Ceska Trebova is one of the most scenic and beautiful railway lines in Europe! I have driven often this line visting my friends in Olomouc and Ostrava. The part from Prerov to Studenka is also beautiful. Unforgetable is my driving in the Skoda Hrbata 130-011 under supervision of the driver from Ceska Trebova to Ustí nad Orlici. The second beautiful line is from Praha-Liben to Ustí nad Labem. I drove here several times 2 years ago. • @vilemvanhara3852

    @vilemvanhara3852

    5 жыл бұрын

    @@AntenneQC It depends. When talking about these corridor lines (such as the one where this video was shot), privateer passenger trains generally tend to appear here (line Prague-Kolín-Česká Třebová) and on the lines Česká Třebová-Brno-Břeclav(CZ/SK and CZ/A borders), Česká Třebová-Olomouc, Olomouc-Staré Město u Uherského hradiště or Olomouc-Ostrava-Karviná/Havířov-Mosty u Jablunkova(CZ/SK border) - all of them being located to the east of Prague - whereas the lines to the north (Prague-Ústí nad Labem-Děčín(CZ/D border), Kolín-Ústí n. L., Ústí n. L.-Cheb), south (Praha-Tábor-České Budějovice-CZ/A border) or west (Prague-Pilsen-Cheb) of Prague are mostly operated by ČD. A special case is the Brno-Přerov line, where all express services will be provided from this December on by privateer RegioJet on the basis of the so-called Bond of Public Service. On the other hand, privateer cargo transporting companies are more widespread and, I believe, can be seen on any corridor. As of regional lines, the passenger trains on most of them are still run by ČD, but on some of them, they were handed over to privateers the same way as the express services on the Brno-Přerov line. I'm not sure about how widespread privateer cargo transport is on the regional lines, but I guess it is present there as well.

    Are you kidding me? "Lack of fuel" or "too expensive for ANYONE to afford" I don't want to be mean, but do you live under a rock or something? It seriously is insane to ask such a questions and to have such a lack of knowledge about a Central European country like Czech Republic. Like you think it's some developing country or something. Czech Republic has the second highest GDP per capita after Slovenia among all the Slavic nations. Most people have vehicles there and it's a highly developed nation with astonishing tourists sights and one of the most beautiful and modern cities in the world Prague. Let me assure you people don't have problem with fuel or price of vehicles there. Czech Republic is also home to one of the most successful car brands in Europe, Škoda. The high amount of passenger rail traffic is due to the same reason as in every other West or Central European country, it being high density of population especially urban and lot of young and old people choosing to travel by comfortable trains for affordable fares. Also the reason why you saw a lot of trains in this video was made quite clear in the beginning of the video and it was due to the fact that these shots are from the single most frequented section of the Czech rail network also many trains on this lines are International services between Prague and Budapest and between Prague and cities like Bratislava and Kosice in my country Slovakia. I hope this explanation gives you some insights into the Czech life.

    The speed and low price on this particular line attract lots of passangery. Keep in mind this train connects all the large cities and eastern part of the country to Prague. Me, for instance, I can get to the centreof Prague by that yellow train in 2 hours and 20 minutes, pay only like 5 USD and travel the distance of 250 km. Why would I take the car if the train goes every hour?
