Oh come one! It totally imitates decades of adventure serials that came before it. Even the trademark fedora and leather jacket were lifted directly from Charlton Heston's Harry Steele character. Indiana Jones just did it better and more prolifically than any adventure serial before it.

I agree with pat, theyre great directors but they sound very self centered.

It was a good movie but it wasn't as good as Jaws
