Thanks Mark for another fabulous video, great content, footage and chat. Wonderful to see you behind the wheel of a 2CV and as a 2CV custodian this really highlights the joys of 2CV. I would add that I appreciate the work and skill that you place in your work.

Thank you so much. This one took a lot of filming with it combining elements of static shows and a car review video with trying to capture footage of the convoy. It also meant there was a lot of footage to go through in the days following the event but I think worth the effort to try and capture the mood of the day. As you can see I really enjoyed the 2CV even though it's probably among the last cars that I would have previously considered. There is a lot of satisfaction to be had from making swift progress in a somewhat underpowered car and the 2CV has character in spades. I would love to have a go in a Lomax 223 to see how that compares to the 2CV. I.agimebdeslite it's shared components it will feel very different. I'd also like to see if the Dyane or Arkadiane feel any different to the 2CV.

I love the hilarious amount of bodyroll 2CVs have, even at low speeds.

It makes for great fun. It can be very satisfying to drive a slow car at a brisk pace.30-50 mph rarely feels so exciting.

Brilliant video Mark, can we see a 2CV on the Fleet very soon?? Brilliant scenary in the best part of the world. Nice to see the couple from Duns make the trip down, i am about 40 mins from Duns so i know the feeling of getting up early to make a trip down fo Yorkshire.

Thank you. Sadly I've neither the space or funds for another car in the fleet. The 2CV was never a car I have ever considered owning though I must concede I had a lot of fun with this one.

Thanks for the film, looks like a lot of fun. Wouldn't mind taking my Bamboo along one year.

I have the pleasure in owning Brian’s Acadiane Clouseau which I brought back to the Tan Hill rally in January 2020 for the 30 th event, hope to come back again, perhaps for the 35th

That would have been good to see. I dint think there was an Arcadiane on this year's event. It was my first time on Raid Tan Hill and a very enjoyable event.

Thanks, Oh I don't think I'll be adding anything to the fleet any time soon, havn't the space or the money. You will have to try to get to nextvuears event, you will have a great time.

Great film Mark . I used to deliver to pubs and other places in upper Wharfedale so I recognised where you were . My favourite driving roads from Hawes over Buttertubs , through Birkdale to Kirkby Stephen .

Having grown up close to these parts, I know the roads to Tan Hill and Hawes very well. Such a beautiful part of the world, and I've had many enjoyable drives round there. You would've driven past the pub that Clarkson punched the producer in! I hired a 2CV earlier this in France, can relate a lot to what you've said, a truly wonderful and unforgettable experience (I did a video on it too if you want to compare!), but can't claim I always got on with it! For me the seats were just unbearable for my old man back! But as a piece of design and engineering, it is wonderful! Not the easiest roads to drive a classic car for the first time, but a great way to really experience a 2CV for sure!

The 2cv was great after the first.30 miles or so. Ithe beauty is in its simplicity with its air-cooled engine and as Been pointed out it's the essence of car with nothing else. Despite problems with my back I actually didn't have an issue after a full day in this car which is a surprise all things considered.

Top video Mark! Great to see some interviews on the move which felt really natural and chatty. I really liked the in (and on) car footage and great to see all the cars lined up in such a beautiful valley. It’s a great part of the world as we both know…. And all the better for a little road trip!

Thanks Simon, It was a busy day for me and I would have liked to have spoken with more people in camera but trying to get in place to film the drive by shots, get the interviews and the mobile footage with a limited number of cameras and no film crew is no easy task. Hopefully I had enough footage to give a good overview of the event and all that it entails.

Great video Mark! I'll have to have a look at 2CV Club Leeds, and also have a look at taking part in this next year! You're welcome to have a go in my Lomax when it's back on the road too. 😁
