In d1 rahu in 5th (cancer sign ashlesha ) and in d9 in 12th (Aquarius sign) from Jupiter. In both chart Jupiter in Pisces.

I have rahu in 7th house with mars and jupiter in 6th house so that makes rahu 2nd from jupiter ... I am very very close to God I always discern on my decisions before taking final action which is actually very helpful ... yeah money wealth and fame is important to me and always has been but spiritual dharma is also very important ... I have conjunction in 12th house. Never been into drinking or bad habits or company. But suffer from delusion. I feel connected to other realms. Into new age stuff, astrology. Love my Hinduism and dabbling in other ancient religions, like the Egyptian and celtic... Not the recent ones like islam or Christianity. I equally love the concept of paramahansa yoganand ji and his master lineage. I love a new age take on my own religion i.e Hinduism. This conjunction happens in Jupiter's nakshatra, does that mean rahu's influence is tainted by Jupiterian dictum?

I too have rahu and Jupiter conjunction in 12th house (pisces), I am ending rahu dasa now, I have had my fair share of delusions, obsessions, bad company, smoke and drink, job dissatisfaction, staying in a foreign land but never got addicted to anything..I share the same religious mindset that you mentioned, I got introduced to Ramana Maharishi philosophy during Jupiter antardasa and later dwelled into tantra reading Robert svobodha, love reading about saints, devoted to Saibaba of shirdi..I feel the dasa of rahu brings most of these with an experience of proper understanding of spirituality too, probably you have not been through rahu dasa till now so you feel less of its force..

@@tejaswimedicherla4532 I'm in ketu MD now. My next AD is rahu. From this October. I guess rahu is responsible for the delusions I mentioned if you noticed. During sade sati it gave me a fair share of making wrong life decisions. So ya.. you don't really have to run its dasha to feel its effect.. In fact when my 7.5 began rahu was transiting my lagna and moon. So a tumultuous period of 10 long years began around 2013 for me. Still don't know when it'll end. But I'm gaining my confidence now owing to ketu transits and MD. Ketu co rules my ascendant anyways.

@@blobofconsciousness rahu behaves like Saturn and Saturn transiting moon along with rahu (as you mentioned) is a strong indicator of the troubles that you went through.

Smriti, the river of traditions, that encompasses the Vedangas, Shad darshana, Puranas, Itihasa, Upveda and Jyotish (the so called Vedic astrology) has always got to adapt to the modern times. Unlike Shruti, which has no mandates, is eternal and does not change with time. Like the 4 Vedas and 108 Upanishads, wearing the crown of Shruti.

I don't understand how this can be said without considering the houses and signs. My Jupiter is in 1st house Sagg. Rahu in 10 Virgo. In no way am I tempted to be dishonest in my dealings.

Just means one house up from Jupiter. So if Jupiter was in Libra and Rahu was in Scorpio, then Rahu is 2nd from Jupiter
