Some of these commenters definitely did not watch the full video. Peter king literally explained the rationale behind the hire, y’all are just yapping and complaining. No one knows how this hire will pan out. Remember how many people hated Mike McDaniel getting hired in Miami? You think they still feel that way now? Give Rah a fair shot, then judge him on performance and the big picture impact of the hire (ex. Coordinator hires, roster management, draft decisions, player development, etc). People who don’t know ball seem to always be the loudest smh.

As a Falcons fan I'm okay with the hire of Morris over Belichick. Either way the decisions about who will be OC and QB are far more critical. And in that I think Morris had the edge. He hired Zac Robinson, a McVay tree guy. Getting a McVay/Shanahan offense installed is a higher likelihood of success than Josh McDaniels (w/o Tom Brady) would have been. And as for the Rams promoting Morris to get picks, I think it's possible for two things to be true at the same time. Any time you turnover coaches you run the risk of backsliding. But the Rams very well could bring Ejiro Evero back as DC. And McVay calls the plays, so they don't suffer by losing Robinson. But they can also be fans of Morris and want him to get a chance as a HC. Plus Les Snead was with the Falcons, so he's not going to try to dupe Arthur Blank in order to get picks. It can be a win-win for both.

And they don't actually realize if we had a more divorce NFL on the football field we will have more black Coaches Average Posen play High School football but once again the coaching he goes to college and get on the coaching staff helping out for free he graduated by the time he's 20 another 10 years on a coaching staff at another college he's 30 he has a team your head start of any African American that's the problem. So you turn down Belichick and instead decide to hire a guy who was 17-31---repeat 17-31---in his three seasons as head coach of Tampa? Lost almost twice as many games as he won. This is they guy who's going to save Atlanta? Seems like another charity hire. I think he'll be sacked in 2 years.

@eroccha you don't have to hold people back to not promote the degradation of your own team. Remember, by getting him hired here the Rams will get compensatory draft picks. Pretty good incentive to do such a thing imo.

This was one of the dumbest hires I’ve ever seen. Especially with the high name coaches that were available.

These guys are falling over themselves to praise him to score sjw points. I'm sure he's a great guy but so is my neighbor but he's 80 years old and would be a terrible nfl HC 😂
