Raging Waters Sacramento - All Water Slides 2022 POV

Located at CalExpo, Raging Waters is Sacramento's largest family water park. Just like its sister parks in San José and San Dimas, Raging Waters Sacramento is operated by Palace Entertainment. We think this park features the weakest ride lineup out of the three, however, there are still plenty of attractions which are worth checking out. Our favorites were the unique Stingray and Manta Ray twister slides - these interlocking speed slides both feature a 360-degree helix towards the end which is pretty fun. Other signature rides include the Dragon's Den bowl slide, which can be found at most water parks owned by Palace Entertainment, as well as the Honululu Half Pipe.

I can see why you guys loved the stingray and manta ray body slides over the other rides in the park. All that buildup in speed in the interlocking segment, and then the super fast helix segment. Coolest take on an interlocking body slide by far imo.

I've lived in Northern CA my whole life and had no idea this was in Sacramento. Looks like I have a new water park to check out!

This waterpark was supposed to close but it was purchased by Silverwood Entertainment and expected to stay open with a three year refurbishment plan. Hopefully someone can save the location in San Jose also.

Gaging Waters Used to be the McDonald's land set😲
I feel like the location inside of Cal Expo makes reinvestment inefficient. Especially when the fair is going on - you have to buy admission to the State Fair then get admission to Raging Waters. None of the water parks in Northern California get a ton of attention but the Raging Waters properties really feel like they're ignored.
