Was at this show. Got their debut a month or so earlier after hearing the former lead singer of Inside Out had a new band. As someone who has seen a shit ton of live bands in my life, Rage in their prime was still the best one of them all. Also, RIP JC Dobbs, which was the life blood of live music on Philly’s South Street for over 3 decades.

A lot of "big" bands still play smaller venues and clubs. Very few bands ever play stadiums and amphitheaters and such. They eventually got to that point but that was later on after Evil Empire and especially after Battle Of Los Angeles. Pink Pop is a little different because it's a festival. Festivals always have huge turn outs like that.
