You are a phenomenon, as were your esteemed great uncle, Pt. Pannalal Ghosh and your father, Pt. Nikhil Ghosh. Had listened them performing live few times, but not you or your prodigal son. Am 84 now and don't know how long I would enjoy the music I love so much. God bless you and your son, Ishan.

In which Gharana of classical music of North India does Shri Nayan Ghose belong to ? It appears that he follows the Vilayet Khani Gharana from his style of playing the strokes of sitar and also other parts like sound quality but his style of sitting posture and also holding the sitar is like that of Gharana of Baba Alauddin and also the Alap portion .Anyway, he appears to be a very good player of the instrument of sitar .

He is playing a Gandhar Pancham. That's the type the followers of Vilayet Khan use. The rendition also carries the very styles of Imdadkhani gharana.
