@@candicoated2001 honestly, in my head cannon (take it as an AU if you will~) Babbette runs away to find Paris, Ann thinks out of the kindness of her heart that she'll get hurt and can't live without helping her, Andy of course follows, because he really want's to prove hes a strong tuff and terrific boy to his big sister. the normal story follows, minus all the pirate stuff (or maybe that can stay cause honestly it's badass as hell and we stan a strong woman who's a 10/10) Babbete finds out how wrong she was to leave everyone behind and sweetly reconciles with ann (and andy but of course he's sassy about it!) The End no plot hole, and a sweet story WITH NO CREEPY OLD MAAAN

it makes me so happy people have found this movie... I used to watch it when I was just a little girl, almost every night.. It has inspired me to make a career in the arts, and without this movie, I don't even know who I would even be today. I can't express how happy this makes me, to feel apart of people after enjoying it all by my lonesome for all this time. I'm so happy to see everyone :,)

Such a great movie. Richard Williams went over budget and time on this movie, I wish he was given even more time and budget to really deliver on what he envisioned. Same goes for his passion project of The Thief and The Cobbler. Oh man, what a beautiful hand-drawn animated movie. And only if he was given the time and the budget, it was his magnum opus.

Ann’s voice is literally so nice, it matches her being a rag doll too. I love it. Same for Babette, it’s so beautifully French. I also love Andy’s voice, but not as much as Ann’s or Babette’s.

She is very wonderful. She was famous in the role as Frenchie from the Grease movie. I got lucky to meet her in person along with most of the Grease cast. She’s such a kind soul.

It's sad to say, but unfortunately Mark Baker, who voiced Andy in this movie, died too, and is up there with Richard Williams. :( (Mark died in 2018. :( )

I don’t know man, I give a pop culture character award of the day to the sound the captain makes when he first sees Babette through his spy glass right before the music cues up in “A Miracle”. It’s like this fantastic tongue tied drooling pervert noise that’s SUPERB voice acting and cracks me up every time.

Thank you for this! As wonderful as the late George S. Irving's performance was in this film (he voiced Captain Contagious, and also voiced the Heat Miser in "A Year Without A Santa Claus"), there needed to be a version of the song with no dialogue spoken.

I want to learn the piano just so I can play this and, 'Candy Hearts and Paper Flowers'.
