RAFT TOUR! Ready for Chapter 3!

Ойындар

quick tour of my little raft with a hidden pipe layout. my game is on survival mode - currently on day 124. this is the vanilla game, i do not have any mods installed. i know the six engines are a bit overkill but i wanted to future proof the raft incase i expand in the future. ive changed a few things after this upload. will probably make an update in the future.

Great raft, really got me thinking of different ways to build. Really liked the front and rear entrance, now I'm wondering if the new draw bridges could be used for that to close them. Awesome job for your first video by the way.

Since most of us eventually build a fairly large boat to accommodate all our stuff, I wonder if the devs have thought about giving us the chance to make a small boat to use as a launch between the main boat and island? Trying to get close enough to an island to safely swim ashore can be unwieldy as hell, especially in early game before the steering wheel and engines, so anchoring further offshore would make sense.

hi i used the floating floor trick. u have to use a pillar + triangular floors instead of the normal rectangular floors, after that you can just delete the pillar and the floors will remain floating! i dont know if they patched this with the update but i just added the horizontal pillars incase they did. but afaik i think the glitch still works :-)

I shouldn't be surprised that the algorithm recommended this video to me rather out of nowhere. But I would be lying if I said that I didn't like the video. That really was nicely designed raft. I liked it a lot. I guess the only thing that I would criticizes is the audio quality..I can barely hear you. which kinda of makes sense. you seems like the kind of KZread creator that does KZread just for the fun of it (and that's not a bad thing in my opinion). I'M just trying to say that if you want to do KZread as a career ,or even as more structured hobby... (I'm not sure if the word "structured" is the appropriate word in this context but hopefully you understand what I meant to say). ...you might want to consider investing in some decent audio equipment. It doesn't have to be a top-notch tier list equipment.honestly,it doesn't have to be even average level. I've heard really good audio recorded by mics that are what I'd like to call "barely average". So yes, I hope this criticism doesn't come across as hateful or unnecessarly harsh or anything like that. I hope if you would to continue to post videos to KZread. That my comment wouldn't be the thing that makes you stop. I just thought that might help. Also (although I'm not sure) you sound like you get nervous when talking to a microphone. which I wouldn't even criticize.cause I do kind of have the same problem but with cameras. But I would (regardless of if you do or not) encourage you (and myself) to be more confident . Maybe take a class on public speaking or something like that. anyway, I've talked too much in this comment (sorry about that btw). so good luck with everything you do and have a nice day.

  • @DECM.

no u dont need six engines, this raft is less than 200 foundations. i just have six engines because i expanded my boat after this, its in my newest video. six engines is the max you need for any raft, beyond six is useless

having more than 6 engines is useless, because it wont make you go faster and at 6 engines there is no more limit to how many tiles you can have. So you could have 1000 tiles but 6 engines would still cover that
