As per ACI Code the minimum thickness of matt/Raft foundation is 50 cm and depth from Natural ground level is 2.5 m

When you say 50 cm are you referring to the total thickness of the Raft beam and slab ?

with respect! the placement of the main bars for the bottom mesh is wrong in the MAT/RAFT foundation the main bars for the bottom mesh are always provided along the longer span of the MAT/RAFT and vice verse for top reinforcement. In a longer direction, the bending moment occurs in maximum amounts to nullify that maximum moment impact we provide main bottom steel bars along the longer direction of the RAFT foundation. Cheers
