It will go on for some time to come unless NATO shrugs off it's restrictive strict rules and shows some flexibility in it's approach to direct troop support for Ukraine . They don't have to enter the front line fighting just secure all of Western Ukraine and create a safe zone that Putin can not ever take . That will be so helpful to Ukraine in many ways and a buffer zone for Poland .

Israel was right in entering rafah, they found the hamas tunnels that were used to help hamas but nit help Gazans. Hamas used Gazans as human shields using schools, hospitals and children bedrooms for attacks. They use pain of innocent Gazans as propaganda material. Egypt was previously accused of blocking the border, really what they had done was built a new fence on their own land which will prevent fleeing ethnic cleansing victims from moving very far into Egypt once Israel chases them across the actual border

I think Egypt has been till now verry diplomatic. 1- Dit not retaliate, kept quiet, let the world judge Israel and their attrocities, let Israel sink in the mess they created and let tnem solve it. 2- Made Hamas accept the deal, and kicked the ball back to Netanyahu's court, if he accepts it, great, if he does not then the ball went though between his feet. Let the world judge him. Maybe you have a little understanding of the middle east, I have lived in it. 3- if Egypt get involved that means the rest of the Arab world will be involved, that will drag the super power into it.
