One thing I still fail to understand is how there is absolutely no “noise” in Mendez’ articulations. It practically sounds like he’s pressing keys on a keyboard when he double tongues.

There’s an interview with Allen Dean were he talked about getting a lesson from Mendez. Dean asked how to double tongue like Mendez, to which the ladder responded “ you’ll never tongue as fast as me. I speak Spanish.”
