Runways: 3 concrete, tarmac and wood chips. (075) 2,000 by 50 yards (027) 1,400 by 50 yards and (130) 1,400 by 50 yards long. Mark II airfield lighting was installed on the main runway only
Hardstandings: Concrete perimeter track with fifty loop type hardstandings to meet USAAF standard requirements
Hangars: 2 - T2. One fronting the Technical site to the West of the airfield, the second to the East of the airfield
Bomb Stores: The bomb store was on the northern side of the airfield near Bunns bank earthwork
Ad., tech. & barr.: The Technical site was to the West of the airfield, the temporary accommodation areas were dispersed in the farmland to the West of the airfield

The 453rd flew 259 missions, lost 58 Aircraft in action and claimed 42 enemy destroyed, 12 probables and 19 damaged.
