Darren Young spent 16 years serving as an RAF firefighter before being medically discharged with serious back and neck injuries.
Struggling to cope with both the constant pain and the end of his career, he found himself on the brink of suicide.
Today, thanks to his family and a love of sport, Darren has rebuilt his life and now dedicates time to raising money and awareness around mental health.
