I am almost 80 years old and in my life time I have listened to quite a few violinists. Never have I been so moved by a performance like this. When I was very young like 10 years old, there was a crazy but immensely talented violinist who walked the city streets of Calcutta at late evening playing Hindi movie songs. Like the Pied Piper of Hamelin he used to draw people out of their houses to listen to him. This performance just reminds me of those golden memorable days of my childhood.

रईस खान साहब जब व्हायोलिन पर कोई गीत बजाते है, तो बजता नही व्हायोलिन खुद गाने लगती है, व्हायोलिन से स्पष्ट रुपसे शब्दोंका उच्चारन सुनको मिलता है. कमाल है रईसजी.

As a Pakistani, he is playing "Tu GANGA ki mauj mein'. That's really music by itself. Music knows no boundaries.

When I was listening to this tune, it took me back more than 50 years, when I first saw this film in Mumbai. I just shut my eyes & visualised the actual scene from that film. What a violinist & his crew too. Absolutely marvellous.

The best rendition of this song I have ever heard ! Naushad Ali and Mohd Rafi would themselves clap for you if they could hear this ! Perfect tone, feeling and rhythm ! You are a one-man orchestra ! Who are these people who actually "Disliked" this performance ?

Listening to this soulful and heart touching tune tears start running down my face for a while brought back memories of childhood. Memories of those people who are not with us any more but they are alive in our memories. Thank you Raes khan sahib for this beautiful presentation
