Fellow romanian here, the pronounciation is Dră-Goo-Sheen the "ă" in -Dră- is pronounced as "the" but with "r" in the middle makes sense. We romanians decided we need extra letters

Dragusin comes from a family of top athletes. So I dont think he is in it for the money. He is focused on his progression and career.

My 8 year old grandson is buzzing over the signings. I really hope that he will soon witness a great Tottenham team winning trophies to etch in his memory

We need to keep in mind that Postecoglou has used a back 3 alot for australia not so much for celtic or yokohama but with dragusin coming in a back 3 becomes a real option

Dragusin's agent was chirping away at Bayern and his client to get the deal done with them. Again, fair play to Dragusin for keeping his word with Tottenham from the start. It's all positive being a Tottenham fan at the moment, makes a nice change.

Wow it’s been a good few days for us , ange is a blessing for us I’m buzzing

Haven’t been this excited about a Spurs team since Hoddle and Waddle were flying and I haven’t had this much faith in a Spurs manager since Burkinshaw. Direction of travel at the club is brilliant at the moment. Seems Ange has everyone reaching for the stars.

It's refreshing to hear of a player moving to better their career and also the comments from the agent although unusual, seems like he has the players best interest at heart which is also very positive where agents usually get a bad press

He arrives a fan favourite already with this act of loyalty, and especially saying no to the arrogance of BM (although nice to know they were desperate for him as well). Karma for the way they tapped up Harry. I wish Eric Dier well if he gets his move to that lot, he's been a really good servant to the club. Clearly this is another example of the pulling power of Ange.

Happy days. In the past, we would have crumbled under the circumstances…an injury list this long? And in dire need of bolstering the squad in Jan? Well, this time our manager has well and truly been BACKED. It’s not a familiar feeling! 😅 it may take some getting used to! And it’s so refreshing. The Ange era is the most positive I’ve felt in ages as a Spurs fan of 33 years.

Forgot to mention - that injury list would’ve left us with a gloomy outlook in footballing terms as well but Ange has still moved us in a forward direction under these difficult circumstances. What a guy he is. Has us firing on all cylinders, even when we’re balancing on 3 wheels!

Thank you mate, means a lot, I bought my membership the morning of the FA Cup draw (had to be done at 50% off), when I found out we drew city, I thought I had no chance of going to a home game, law and behold, managed to get 2 tickets for me and my son against Brentford. Took convincing the Mrs though, on a school night 😂😂😂. Ah well. #COYS

Thank you for the video Alasdair! So happy with the Dragusin and Werner signings. Really hoping that they both start against Manchester United. Obviously getting a young English midfielder like Gallagher, Hackney, Wharton, etc would give a 10/10 window, but this is a great start. Hopefully this can help result in a strong second half of the season.

If we can get the one who was at Leipzig in 2019 rather than the one at Chelsea then theres a good player, my only worry is the number of times he gets caught offside so he might be another Richarlson

Thanks Alasdair for the quick update video. I have high hopes for the new signings especially hearing the stats you provided: particularly for Radu Dragusin. However, even if they fail to reach the heights we hope for, at least Spurs have been active, and active early, in the January window and have given the fans hope and lots too look forward to in the rest of the season.

I think we spurs fans are all on high altitude with the two high profile players 😅❤when Ange wants Levy has to gives😂exciting times Coys Alli!!

Best thing about us scouting Dragusin in a back three is if we’re chasing a game late, we can throw him on between Micky and Romero to go for a back 3 and push everyone else up. Have one midfielder offering cover, or not due to the recovery pace all 3 have, and just let the rest of the guys press high and outnumber where they can. Options, sweet sweet options!

Still remember on the 29th December 2022, when I got so ridiculed . That is when I stated on Facebook that Tottenham would sign Ange as their next manager in the summer of '23. Now everyone loves the man. In Ange we trust.

Players who want to come to Spurs as they see the club as a big club and it's honour to play for Spurs. Ange installs that into the players and they play that way. Timo will have something to prove. Radu seems a beast of a player and I think in a few months 30m fee will seem a steal. Already think Radu is better then Romero. Second half of the season Spurs will be a force

G'day Ali, I haven't read all the comments yet, but seems like many supporters and pundits are surprised at how quickly Ange and the Spurs management have moved to sign up new players. I suggest Scott Munn, Spurs Chief Football Officer appointed in September last year, and a fellow Aussie, and ex CEO of City Group, China, was instrumental in giving and getting the support for Ange's recruitment plans. Scott was also infuential in getting Ange to Spurs in the first place. Credit to the Aussie duo 🇦🇺🇦🇺. COYS PS, my prediction is the City Group is preparing Ange to be Pep's replacement at City in a coupla years. So he's got good backers. Food for thought for the doubters out there!

Ali I hope you saw the hilarious photo someone edited of you handing Thomas Tuchel the Eric Dier jersey at a press conference.

It feels like we finally have everyone pulling in the same direction. As a fan this makes things soooo much more exciting. I just really want us fans to evolve into the most positive fans ever....so that the few times the team feels shaky...we can lift them out of it...sometimes the fans nerves have made it harder for the team. Let's hope with the exciting football being played most of the time helps us to not feel so nervy...those few times the team struggles. Good times ahead for sure 🎉🎉🎉🎉

I heard an interview with Jo Hart where he said Ange was really sussing him out as a person when they spoke via zoom and whether he really wanted to play with Celtic. Jo said they didn’t discuss his goal keeping at all. It was all about him as a person. Ange had already made up his mind about Jo’s keeping.

I have fond memories of the spurs team of the early sixties. They played exciting attacking football, and I think Ange is building something similar.

Hi Ali, greetings from Brunei this time. Thanks for another video. It's the Ange effect that compelled the club to change its transfer approach. Mauricio couldn't do it. Jose couldn't do it. Tony couldn't do it. Gladiator Ange could. No one says no to him. He has the whole club hanging on every word of his. The entire fan base is speculating on what Ange said to convince Timo and Radu to come to Spurs and it's just fascinating.

At 63yrs of age never thought Id be up all night waiting for transfer news, but Wow who said not much happens in January window 😁👍 It’s “Banana Splits” theme song time 😂 and may be a Ali Gold Hat 🎩 Trick video 🥳

Ah man, when I saw the bayern bid the anxiety kicked in and I was like " we don't need ragu, someone better will come" just pure bitterness. Then I woke up as you do to the great news. Of course I was delighted, surprised to be honest. Are things changing at spurs, or are these the results of the new build.. we do have a good foundation in place after all. Stadium, training ground, ownership bringing in a manager that plays our vision of football. Very positive feelings.

On my break at Paddington again! And AG video just popped ! Hope you’re taking care of yourself.. bet you can’t wait to see Son and Werner blasting beyond opposition defences.. hopefully onside!

Having 2 parents who are athletes can be a bonus, as they know what to expect and can offer guidance.
