🔴 RADIUS of GYRATION || explained in HINDI
In this Physics video lecture in Hindi for class 11 we explained radius of gyration or gyradius. Radius of gyration or gyradius of a body about an axis of rotation is defined as the radial distance of a point from the axis of rotation at which, if the whole mass of the body is assumed to be concentrated, its moment of inertia about the given axis would be the same as with its actual distribution of mass.
We evaluated the radius of gyration for a disc rotating about an axis passing through its centre of mass and prpendicular to the plane of the disc.
We also evaluated the radius of gyration for a rod rotating about an axis passing through its centre of mass and perpendicular to that rod.

Thank you so much, I had been confused about this topic for so long. You explained it very nicely!
This is the only explanation that made me easy to grasp this concept.
During engineering u will get to see this type of equivalent conversions more frequently often done frm the purpose of simplification.
The only video that helped me understand this concept. Thanks a lot
Thanks sir for making this concept easy for us thanks from bottom of my ❤️
I thought I=mr2,,please make it clear to me

Yes even I had the same doubt I think sir has been mistaken because all refrence books, NCERT, and Google has moment of inertia=mr²

Moment of inertia's general formula is mr2 but it differs for shapes
Seeing this wondrous explanation of physics topic first time
Ur explaining style is tremendous❤❤ we hope more vdo from u.
thank you sir very much ....such a nice explanation of radius of gyration
Thankyou sir. It was very helpful
Very very very informative.... Explained the concept in the best way... Really helpful....
Awesome explanation👍👍👍 Thank you❤
Thank you so much, I had been confused about this topic for so long. You explained it very nicely! , love you sir , form KOlKATA
Very good explanation of concept with good examples.
crystal clear thank you so much sir 🙏❤️
Well explained sir hats of you🙏🏻😊
A point mass which will be having same mass as whole disk means it will be cemtre of mass...So Sir how we can consider this?

Thnkuu sr.... I understand easily.. I saw many videos to clear this concept... Bt nobody can explain like u... Thnkuu so much Sr
Thanks
Best explanation
Thankyou for clearing my concept
Very nice
Moment of inertia =mass ×square of the distance from axis of rotation I=mr^2 ,not upon 2

Sir Bahut hi jyada Badhiya Samjhaya Aapne.Thank you so much and God Bless You.
Sir. Us disk ke mass ko hum ek point mass ko convert kiya toh mass same rahega lekin radius change hoga. Tab moment of inertia bhi change hoga na ?
Sir bolchi je akbar l^2/2 ar akbar l^2/3 ar akbar l^2/12 keno holo aktu bolben
Super 💥 💥💥 💥👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
