    α = 30° (∡ACB) because is given data an equilateral triangle. Side of square: (s) tan α = r / (s-r) = 3 / (s-3) s = 3 / tan 30° + 3 = 3√3+3 s = 8,196 cm Height of triangle: (h) h = s / cosα + s = s (2/√3 +1) h = 17,66 cm Base of triangle: (b) b = h / tan α = h √3 b = 30,56 cm Area of triangle: A = ½.b.h A = 270,1 cm² ( Solved √ )

    Why use trigonometry when you can use the side proportionalities of 30:60:90 triangles (1:√3:2)? BF = r + r(√3/1) = 3 + 3√3 AF = EF(2/√3) = (3 + 3√3)(2/√3) BC = AB(√3/1)

    It's easy to find that ABC is an 30,60,90 right triangle, because the kite FBHG has angle in F = 60°, that angle AFE = 30 and FAE = 60
