A lot of us had clocks like the one in the thumbnail... and never knew they contributed to these girls getting so sick and dying so awfully and unfairly. Yes, we feel so nostalgic at these timepieces. So terribly sad. Thank you, fantastic video! Very well done. These things are still emitting radiation I'm sure, like Lamont's body in the cemetery that has to stay in a lead casket for centuries to keep the radiation in him from sickening & killing other people. He gave some testimony & evidence to help these girls in their cases as he was dying.

In 2019 my husband and I took over his dad’s home where his grandpa and great grandpa lived, during the late 1800’s. We were digging up an old seller that had filled in with dirt. We found an old water container; it says; Revigator Radium ore, PATD. 7-16-1912 and the following on the side of the jug; 1. Full jar every night 2. Use hydrant or any good water. 3. Drink freely when thirsty and upon arising and retiring average six or more glasses daily . Scrub with stiff brush and scald monthly. It’s in great shape but not sure if it’s safe to keep in our home?

Just like how I typed “you” instead of “your”. That lowers the credibility of my post. Good day!

I said the same thing. Who in the US doesn't know the s is silent in Illinois?

Very good documentary. I only recently learned of the Radium Girls…and I work in Ottawa, Illinois! The history of work conditions for women is also fascinating…we definitely have it much better now vs. then

Great documentary! Free enterprise helped build this country, but there was a lot of corruption, greed and death that came along with it.

I hope you also remember about countless numbers of male workers, who were not so cute and beautiful, worked hard, for example in an asbestos factories - and also died painful death in their prime.

The "s" in Illinois is silent. I'm sorry, I had to say something. Very educational though.
