Thanks man! I recieved a XK A-800 glider as a gift, but the XK controller is a piece of crap. Managed to bind it to my Radiomaster no problem, but it was stuck in low rates stabilized mode - and now I know how to fix it.

The OpenTX website lists the 3D6G switch as being either on CH5 or CH8, according to these protocols: github.com/pascallanger/DIY-Multiprotocol-TX-Module/blob/master/Protocols_Details.md#sub_protocol-a180---5 github.com/pascallanger/DIY-Multiprotocol-TX-Module/blob/master/Protocols_Details.md#xk---62 Why don't you try them out and let me know? I am not sure about the rates, but you can probably program them directly on the TX16S. If 100% throws are not enough, try raiding them to higher % (if allowed).

couldnt bind mine with "KN WLTOYS " it worked with "V911S E119" as someone else suggested. and ch6 was rates and 7 safe

Great video and well explained....have just got the TX16S and have got all my Eachine mini warbirds working fine.... and now I know how to get my XK A-800 working with it as well, thanks to you. I wonder if anyone found out if it was channel 5 or 8 for the 3D6G mode on this model?......anyway thanks again!

How do set up the 6G3D settings though I am using edgetx?

You are binding a XK model but KN on the multi module. How did you find the protocal. I've got the TX16S and I can't get a PROPEL drone to bind or a Hobbyking S-3 drone. Yet in the mutimodule list they have Hobbyking and Propel. Any ideas.

How did you determine that channel 8 was the stabilisation channel was that by trial and error. By the great videos, short and to the point if there is to much information it is easy to become overwhelmed.

Hi Michael. I should not take any credit about channel 5 and 8; I heard it while watching another KZread video about this airplane, but using another OpenTX transmitter. I just applied that knowledge to my RadioMaster TX16S. Thank you so much for the encouragement; it gives me motivation to make and post more videos! All the best! 🙏🙏🙏

Do u do esc calibration? Do it need to bind each time to fly?

Just receive A160, try 4in1 in taranis X9D+, KN wltoys, it did not work , not sure if XK change its receiver or I did something wrong

Help...New radiomaster on xk a160 prog. ok...but trying to program a180 Raptor 3 ch. for elevons using suggested MT99XX, can get left/right bank but when stick up/down for elevator, it is not right. The video for xk a16 was wonderful...Can anyone help?

Hello , recently I bought the latest A250 BF109 which is newly released. However, I found it seems it doesn’t bind with my radio master zorro tx with protocol KN . On the art box it tells it can bind with Futaba Sbus reciever. Does it mean the main board is not supporting the opentx but it needs to add on extra Sbus reciever? Your advice is highly appreciated. try the V911S E119 protocol instead

I bought an xk a430 and I can't change the 3d6d mode. As soon as I accelerate it changes to 6d and I can't go back to 3d. How can I do it?

I tried with my radiomaster TX12 open TX. it won't bind. theres no KN in my radio. sad to say.

Always remove the propeller before binding a new plane... the engine can start at full throttle.

I tried with KN and with V911S E119 and neither work.

Could this be done with a flysky transmitter?

No, FlySky transmitters use a different protocol, and they do not have OpenTX multiprotocol module. However, I have heard that some people modify their FlySky transmitters to bind to other protocols. In any case, my recommendation would be purchasing a OpenTX multiprotocol transmitter like the RadioMaster or the Jumper.

Hi. I got me the little cub but did everything you dit but nou luck. Does not want to bind to my tx16s. Can you suggest something please. The standerd TX is rubbish

Dear Johan. So, did you use the protocol "XK" and subprotocol "WLtoys" on your TX16S, as I have shown in this video? If you did and it did not work, there are at least these two possibilities (assuming that its receiver is not defective): 1) XK started using a new protocol in the later versions of this A160. 2) Your TX16S' firmware needs to be updated. I suggest that you update the firmware on your TX16S to the latest version and try again. www.open-tx.org/

Bonjour mon ami. No, you do not need to install a separate receiver into this airplane in order to bind it to the TX16S. The receiver that comes with the XK A160-J3 is compatible with the "KN - WLtoys" protocol on TX16S.

​tried V911S. E119, it binds. Looks like this could be a new receiver, hope this new receiver fix the rudder issue it had in the initial release of this plane 3 years ago

Hi there. You video has helpsd me to bind my xk180 f22a raptor but on different protocol the only problem I have is channel 5|6|7or 8 don't allow to set up to be able to fly without stabilizer. Maybe you do know how. If you could assist. I watch your videos and they very helpful.

This plane has no flaps unless u meant ailerons.

It has flaperons. Two servos too control ailerons. Apparently with fancy controller you can use as flaps.

@@fourgedmushrooms5958 I wouldn't expect too much given this is a toy grade plane. If you figure out how to make the 2 ailerons into flaperons w/ the Tx16s, you've done so much more than most have. Yesterday, I thought I set up 3d/6g mode to my Sg switch but then went flying and I did not notice the surfaces twitch when on gyro-stabilized mode so now i'm not sure if it 'forgot' its setting or I possibly never got it mapped to the right channel.. (will play w/ it later).
