The man can write a song... beautiful chords.

Crazy he didn't know how to play piano much, or at all if I remember correctly- before going into OK Computer-Kid A era.. and now he's one of the best modern piano songwriters around.. I mean Like Spinning Plates is universally perfect.. its like he uncovers cosmic hymns from time to time, blessing us mammals with divine frequencies

i think he started to learn to play during the recording sessions for the bends. i remember reading a quote from john leckie about how he'd come in early, before the rest of the band, and practice the piano before they started recording

always loved this song....helped me accept my divorce many years ago

Thom and the rest of Radiohead have helped me through so much pain and grief in this life. I often feel like they are my soundtrack to this existence. I feel blessed to have found them :)

And that is how you let the current music community know how far behind they are.

It’s not. There’s a different version on the compilation “Help : A Day In The Life.” It’s way better. Has subtle vocal delay and atmospherics that really make this gem shine.
