No, the map update is a different file and different (and easier) process.

No, just make sure you don't disconnect the power source (battery) from the car during the process

Unfortunately chances are it's f*cked unless you know someone that's able to do some chip diagnosis via the chips jtag/ISP/DFU... Probably be easier n cheaper to get your self a new one

Hola.! Por Favor. Dispongo de este modelo S100, lo que sería interesante saber es, En que mejora el Radio, con esta actualización.? Hace tiempo opte por este modelo para solucionar los problemas de GPS y TV en mi auto, pero de fabrica viene bloqueado, para ver vídeos, TV, MP4. No se para que ponen tanta restricción en un equipo pago. Bueno sería bueno saber en que mejora esta actualización y si es bilingüe español para mejor. Gracias

La actualización del firmware mejorará el rendimiento de la radio. También corrigió cualquier problema o error con la versión de firmware anterior.

@@andrewfrascone En mi radio, no tiene problemas, solo que cuando se quiere ver videos en MP4 se bloquea, aun así el auto este parado y motor apagado, lo mismo pasa si quiero ver TV, y las otras funciones mal, solo permite, escuchar música MP3 y Radio y GPS, pero de fabrica vino asi, o no lo supe instalar bien, no se.
