Tried the keys, only one worked so I stabbed the LCD screen with a Philips screwdriver in a rage and levered the bloody thing out with 2 flat head screw drivers ... Maybe I shoulda filmed it for a tutorial haha.

yes there is a site where you need to put the radio serial key, and it will generate you a key code for ur radio.

I have a 2010 Ford Transit Connect and the keys won't remove the radio. no matter how much I play around with the key or how much force I put on it they radio won't come out. is there a way to remove the dash and maybe remove the radio another way?

I had a very difficult time inserting the keys correctly & removing the head unit as well. I wasn't properly inserting the keys far enough! Try try and try to wiggle them deep into the slots. Just so even the ring part of the key is a little obscured by the unit. Do this to all 4. Keys should be very VERY stuck in if you've done it correctly.

Is there alternatives than the keys?

What is the tools (Name) you are using to remove it?

Hi, you make it look so simple! I got 3 of them to click in like the video but the forth seems blocked (top-left). There is a clip, should I be going over or under it? Thanks!

It normally just slots in, make sure nothing is blocking it.

I bought these tools, put them in correctly and nothing will release. I can't get the radio to budge and I can't get any of the keys to release either. I've given up and just drive around with the sharp keys stuck in the radio and listen to my shitty blue tooth speaker.

Can just use 4 of the thinner stanley blades

For everyone with stuck keys. You gotta move them diagonally to release the radio.

I used Kitchen steak knives to get the stereo out of my 2010 the issue I'm having now is I have a 2013 and I cannot figure it out

+Kevin Chamberlain Mine was the same 4 digit number as for the key code. I had 2 stickers with it on when I bought the van. Bought it second hand about a month ago. The stickers where in the owners manual.

Or you could use a butter knife
