I use 4s power hobby batteries and change the connectors to xt60 connectors and use the venom charger works with ay lipo✌🏽👊🏾

Expensive there! I'll stop complaining about $200.00 for a rtr here in the USA! Great video! Especially for us that's never been in HK! I've used simple green for 30 years! Spray it on, air compressor it dry. 100% biodegradable! U can drink it & it won't hurt u!

I recently bought 2 of the spectrum 3s lipo smart batteries and the s2100 charger there are a ton of options on the charger and I like that you can set a discharge of the battery and after you set it not worry about having to plug them in to discharge

Hey man, I literally have just recently started digging through my basement storage attempting to find any air pumps I could in order to try and use them until I can pickup a small/decent compressor. Unfortunately although I found 3 working "air mattress "type pumps but they are all 15-20 yrs old lol so im not sure if thats thd type of "electric blowup" type of thing yo u mentioned but they haven't got quite enough power to do the job... Would you mind letting me know if yours is really enough to use in place of a compressor and bid so what the details please? Im going to assume that these days the pumps are promoted as being capable of blowing up big air mattresses/pool floats etc real fast so if i could find out which type you bought ide gravely appreciate it as ide c rather wait to buy a good compressor for when my rc budget allows. Thanks in advance.🍻

Air compressor is a guaranteed way to get dirt in the bearings😎

Do you guys know of the best shop for WLTOYS/XK models? I have the 16800 1/16 Excavator which I got for my son... it has a broken drive gear or bull gear. Joe Never tell the wife how much money you spent on toys while she has a knife with her Lol. When you get a chance you may want to get a steel cabinet or maybe empty metal ammo container to store your batteries. You have the right idea using those lipo safe bags but they are really designed for one battery per bag in case you have a battery catch fire and it doesn't set off the other batteries in the bag. Better sleep with one eye open mate when I saw the look on Amber's face when she realized how much you spent and the knife in her lap I just thought, Oh poor Joe. You both are great keep up the great videos 👍

Hahahaha you are very right! I nearly got a car too 😬 we try to keep to a rule no more than an RC per month and set budget, because it sure does get expensive! Thanks heaps for the advice! Will definitely be getting an ammo box next time I'm there! I was meant to get one from the airsoft shop but forgot.. Cheers! 🍻

I keep my lipos in an explosion proof electrical box,outside in the carport. That being said,I've never had one explode,even carelessly tossed out in the sun

We live in both Hong Kong and New Zealand! With my job I'm able to commute back and forth for work every month sometimes multiple times in the same month. Unfortunately due to Covid-19 we couldn't return to New Zealand so we are stuck in our apartment here until we can fly back. Glad you enjoyed video! Cheers! 🍻

Great wee rc. No need to spend money on upgrades

For RC shopping in Hong Kong you will need to go to the Prosper Commercial Building at Yin Chong Street, Mongkok where there are about 6 different hobby shops there. The prices there are way better. Next time you guys do any video in HK for RC stuff and needed to do some recon you can give me a shout and I can give you guys some pointers.

TheRcKiwis There are many other brands that they sell but mostly on-road variants. That said, they will always help to order parts for you if you need anything that is off-road. I.e. Serpent, Magen, X-ray to name a few of the race centric brands. I am an off-racing fan so I go there for other things like accessories, tools, electronics and the like.

I was wondering if they had the release of the Arrma outcast 8S in Hong Kong? Didn’t see it in the video. I already prepaid for one.

Action Hobbies doesn't let anyone record anything. Their prices are one of the lowest and they want to protect that from what i gather from hearsay.

I always strip and clean my cars by hand.

Terrible idea and info no batteries discharge slowly so u don't have to worry about them n storage charge isn't 30% its 50% a little troubling you are giving bad information especially leaving or forgetting about lipos not a chance i put each battery in a lipo bag and they all go in an ammo can i got 6 3s lipos in bags and then in a can im glad you at least said dont for get about your lipos at the bottom of the screen
