Brilliant. After a battery change, even though I had the code, and followed the handbook instructions, I couldn’t get the radio to work. Your solution was so simple, I doubted it could work. It did!!

This only works for as long as the ignition is switched on. Switch off, and you have to go through the same solution. So not a long-term solution ...

I havent had the use of my radio for about a 1 1/2 months cause i got a new car battery and was about to pull the whole thing out for the code on the back. This has absolutely saved me a lot of work 💯

Absolute legend for doing this, thanks mate. Trying to punch in the code was driving me to insanity, with each mistake meaning I had to wait 59 minutes until I could try again…

Thank you so much! My radio screen is burnt out so I can't see anything. I went to the dealership and they would have to take out the whole radio and send it away for repairs. My radio was locked and I tried this and to my surprise it worked!

Hi. Glad to hear it helps👌👍. You can change this stereo yourself. I have video on my channel how remove it. On ebay you can find same radio for £30-40($50)

I'm going to the car now to try it, I've been without a radio for 2 months, the mechanic told me that it was complicated, but now I see that it's simple. Of course, the mechanic would charge a lot for it..

Thank you for your help, I was able to unlock my car radio from my Nissan Cube with your instructions. The problem is that after about 10 minutes of operation the car radio locks up again. Would it be possible to unlock without it locking again? Thank you.

How to lock it from others

It doesn’t stop the radio going off after a few minutes, I keep having to do what you showed to do, how can I keep the radio on all the time?

Its temporary solution. For full access you want visit dealer. Or any car electric with good diagnostic scanner.

It's only for ten 10 minutes.

This is temporary. I need a fix

For permanent you can go Nissan dealer and they can give you code for £40 ( uk).
