Unlike every other mystery award ever in a pinball game, the snake run is incredibly generous. It very commonly awards skate or die, extra ball, 5x bonus, etc. it will NOT be a dick just because you are in the lead.

The bug showcased in 7:30 mark could be fixed by slightly modifying the code for the routine responsible for that behavior. Take a note of the significant delay between game clearing the lock and the game actually tilting. The game went back into untilted state while the kicked ball was still near the flippers.

I've only ever played one Radical machine but the mega millions always timed out at some point. In fact, I could intentionally drain a ball (single ball play) and mega millions will still stay lit for awhile (way beyond the typical grace period kind of thing). Another thing, at the start of the game the upper right ramp is lit for a million. You can skill plunge so the ball drops to the upper right ramp and get it that way, but the rollback can be rough depending on setup.

Awesome video. I took a few notes as I was watching. I think the L gate switch should be adjusted to not trigger when the ball rolls through from the whirlpool like it does at 0:55. The Skill Shot is timed. If you can hit the left ramp gate multiple times quickly you can spot 2 letters. I do it by plunging the ball to the top of the ramp and getting the second letter on the roll back or if it goes down to the whirlpool quickly you can nail the left ramp again like you do on your first ball at 0:56. 6:15 you discuss the right outlane. On my table the rail above the right outlane is missing, though there are holes for it. It's not there on the photos on IPDB either. Not having this rail tends to make the ball go down the right but hit the post, frequently ending up in the inlane if you just let it happen. At 18:04 you say it's because spot letter is lit, it's not, it was getting enough tail sliders to activate the diverter. Similar to the L gate switch adjustment, I think the middle man switch should be adjusted to prevent the top to bottom spotting of L like you do at 28:25. When a ball is locked, if you get the upper right ramp, when the game kicks out the locked ball you'll get the R and Snake Run if either is available. This also happens if you Tail Slide enough times in a row to get the diverter to activate. Not sure if it gives you a letter in SNAKE, but I wouldn't be surprised. See 28:35. Completing RADICAL lights the 100k, 200k, 300k and 400k bonus lights. The carry over of these from ball to ball can be turned off.

One note: You don't collect the Million / Spot Letter from the completion of the drops, but from the target behind the drops. In fact, you can collect both of those things by hitting the target behind the drops without actually completing the bank. Also the unlighting of Mega Millions is not a timeout but a bug. I've seen it about a dozen times but I've never been able to determine why.

Likewise you can collect the C by hitting that target regardless of the state of the drops. This doesn't reset the bank, leaving less to hit to light Spot Letter. Occasionally if you really nail the middle drop, it'll trigger the target behind.

Wait, was it true that Bally was planning to make a Tony Hawk's Pro Skater game? I would've LOVED to see that come to fruition, especially with Pinball 2000. Ah well.

Bally ceased pinball operations in December of 1996 and their parent company Williams ceased pinball production three years later in October of 1999. Tony Hawk Pro Skater was released at the end of September 1999, which would have made it impossible to design, code, manufacture, and release a THPS pinball machine.

Also if someway somehow two balls ever both get into the snake lane for ANY reason, multiball WILL start.

@@psychoticmortacarn In Radical there are two 16 digit displays, with no gap between the 8 digit parts of each display module. The game simply displays 2 high scores next to one another. Due to angle of the camera and/or the placement of the translite, the commas aren't seen. Such issue doesn't occur on Mousin' Around, since its status report's high score display shows the high score and initials on each module individually, rather than cramming 2 high scores on a single module. As a mere fact, all alphanumerical Bally 6803 games had 14 digit displays, with visible separation of each player's display on both the translite and the display module itself.

The only thingis that it doesnt have the bannana flippers :(

The game simply attempts to display all 4 high scores across all 4 displays.

There's exactly 16 characters on the display, so no room for a space between two eight-figure scores. (In this case, 38,968,800 and 26,921,990.)

omfgbunder2008 The highscoring could be better organized,inputting some commas or dots to differ that is a highscore and another and a separation like this: 38,968,80026,921,990 or 38,968,800|26,921,900

@@lucasnassar2778 The better solution is to show the initials and place of the displayed high score in 3rd player section of the display while displaying the high score on 4th player one. For instance for initials XAQ, which is in 3rd place while having 8 million points, the display would have to show "HIGHEST | SCORES | 3 - XAQ | 8,000,000", where | is the separator for the player specific section of the horizontal display.

After John from John’s Arcade bought one and did his videos on it, is this and probably everyone else coming out with their video on this game(nice, not)
